Mind & Body Martial Arts
The Mind and Body Martial Arts Center, established by the Vietnamese Youth Foundation (www.vnyouth.com) is dedicated to excellence in martial arts training. Around 520 AD, a Buddhist monk from India named Bodhidharma (Da Mo) came to the Shaolin monastery at the foot of the Songshan mountains in north-central China.

Chuong Trinh Tap - 72 Basic Shaolin Kung Fu technique, Than Dong Quyen, Roi Than Dong, Lien Hue Kiem, Uyen Uong Kiem, Sieu xung thien. Conveniently located in the heart of Little Saigon in Westminster, California, our facility has both plentiful interior and exterior space for flexible practice and safety.

The Mind and Body Martial Arts Center, established by the Vietnamese Youth Foundation (www.vnyouth.com) is dedicated to excellence in martial arts training. The school takes pride in its family type atmosphere where supportive instructors, students, and parents are active participants.

From the beginner through the advance level, each student is offered the opportunity to reach his/her greatest martial arts potential through self-awareness, self-discipline, flexibility, body conditioning, balance, endurance, self-confidence, strength and character.The curriculum encompasses learning traditional Vietnamese Martial Arts encompassing weapons, fighting techniques and an extended knowledge about the art.
The purposes of the Mind & Body Martial Arts Center are not only to focus on martial arts but to also be involved in our communities. Our center has been involved in many community activities including participating in martial arts demonstrations and volunteering to enhance our community. Former City of Westminster Mayor and Councilman honoring The Mind & Body Martial Arts Center for their contributions to the community.
1) HISTORY: The System of Shaolin Kungfu That Son Martial Arts (That Son Dao Nhan) was established in 1870. A) BACKGROUND - Grandmaster That Son Dao Nhan whose real name is Nguyen Da was born in 1852 in Phu Cat Village, Binh Khe district, Quy Nhon province (now under Binh Dinh province). Earning the bachelor of martial arts under 5th Thieu Tri period in 1845, he was not only a master of martial arts and patriot, but a bodhisattva as well.
