Services
Founded in 2011, Orange County Martial Arts Center was formed as a means to teach authentic traditional martial arts with a modern application of systematic cross training to men, women, teens, and children.

By integrating the techniques of Hapkido (Korean Jujitsu), Taekwondo & Korean Karate with many techniques and theories from several other martial art systems, our program mixes the modern integrated combat applications and physical conditioning of Mixed Martial Arts with the techniques and focused applications of Traditional Martial Arts for a well rounded training program.
For centuries, Martial Arts have been practiced as a means of self defense, self preservation, meditation, and healing. In today's modern world, these same benefits apply but also serve as a means of increased physical fitness, strength, stress relief, flexibility, endurance, stamina, agility, energy, coordination and improved character.
At the Orange County Martial Arts Center we provide training in Traditional Mixed Martial Arts based upon the principles of Kuk Sool-Hapkido and traditional combat-style Taekwondo/Korean Karate. Our curriculum is based on addressing the three main areas of combat: Striking, Grappling, and Throwing/Takedowns.
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art which is translated as "way of the hand and foot". As one of the most popular forms of martial arts in the world, taekwondo is practiced by an estimated 70 million people 190 countries. Taekwondo is also considered the national sport of South Korea.

There are two main branches of Taekwondo: Traditional Taekwondo - which focuses on traditional self defense combat philosophies, and Sport Taekwondo - which primarily has a competitive sport focus emphasizing speed and technique for success in competition.Although we do offer outlets and training for competition, the primary focus of the art practiced at Orange County Martial Arts Center is Traditional Taekwondo.
