Mirabelle Gourmet Catering
Mirabelle Gourmet Catering is family owned and operated. The owner and chef, Gregoire Guiot, has been working in the industry for over 25 years. Born in the Lorraine/Vosges area of France, Greg began his apprenticeship at age of fourteen, studying under world class pastry chefs in Auxerre and Paris.

In the U.S., he refined his culinary skills, first in Chicago, then at the Acajou restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky, and finally in Louisville, where he worked in such fine dining establishments as the Brown Hotel, The Parisian Pantry and The Jefferson Club. I understand that your event can be one of the most important days in your life, and I am committed to delivering professional, respectful and honest service on every level.

Im not a person who typically leaves a review, however, I feel there was a component to Mirabelle Catering that I needed to post.
The communication was extremely poor!
So much so that it caused a lot of anxiety getting ready for my son’s rehearsal dinner.
First….Chef Greg said tablecloths were included in the price. So, I had intended on sending back the tablecloths I had previously ordered….thankfully I didn’t!! Because a week before the rehearsal dinner he said they were not included!!!
I constantly emailed and texted questions and felt like I was hounding Chef Greg but he wouldn’t

Chef Greg catered my wedding and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. His food was incredible, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on my wedding day, everything was totally taken care of. I loved that I could use his staff as bartenders and buy alcohol on our own, which saved us a lot. He was very personalized and allowed us a menu tasting where we could try everything we had picked for our menu and could change or tweak what we had picked. No other caterer at our price point would allow us to do that, and I loved getting to know chef Greg on a personal level before the event because

Bait and switch best describes our Mirabelle Gourmet Catering experience. The food we tasted in his kitchen was far different then the "stuff" he served at my daughters wedding. When asked for an honest appraisal from our guest they described the food as "bland cafeteria food... boring... tasteless... unidentifiable..." The tender juicy pink perfectly prepared beef tenderloin we had in his kitchen a year before the wedding was far different than the sauced beef jerky he served at my daughters wedding. Perhaps it was the same food, just held over for a year! Worst than that...HE RAN OUT OF FOOD
