Locally owned and operated, Bristol Catering is owned by the Bristol Bar & Grille, a Louisville favorite and winner of more Best of Louisville awards than any other business in the city of Louisville. As a full service caterer, our offices and commissary are located at the Mellwood Arts Center. Several of our restaurant locations offer private banquet dining.
Both Highlands and Downtown Bristol offer banquet rooms. Our off premise division provides catering to our clients who want catering outside of the restaurant, keeping our focus on each event, customizing your party without the worry of running a restaurant, but having the benefit of the accessibility of restaurants if needed.

Great caterer. A group of us came from all over the US to catch up for a 50th BD celebration and to cross the Bourbon trail and your lovely city off our bucket list. I emailed Bristol and all I said was "What can you put together for my group that we can eat, either in the limo van or at piknik tables during our day of distillery tours?" Chef's assistant came back at me with the perfect, I mean absolute perfect box lunch and snack menu to provide nourishment that was well suited to our Bourbon day. Libby K. and her team at Bristol Catering catered my brother's wedding reception at the Peterson-Dumesnil House in Louisville. It was everything we hoped for. The food was delicious and exactly as ordered. And food is the most important part of any event! The bartender was personable and knowledgeable. The servicing staff was efficient and invisible... Let me also tell you that it was a pleasure working with Libby during the planning phase. Many times I'd present a "situation" to her, and she would instantly have the best solution, or, multiple suggestions. She was reliable

The Bristol recently catered our wedding and we couldn't have been more pleased. Besides the food being great, it was really the staff that impressed us the most. Everybody from the top down were so kind, gracious and professional. The head of catering, Emily, helped us with the planning in ways we could have never done ourselves. She was wonderful to work with! Half of the food was a potluck and she made sure all was kept uniform on the table. She even made personalized cards for each dish so we knew who made what. That was a very nice touch. I will recommend the Bristol for anytime anywhere

Incredibly excellent service, planning, support as well as delicious food! Emilie Pfeiffer of Bristol Catering literally made my wedding dreams come true. We had a partially catered potluck wedding that was a little complicated and more than a little unusual. Emilie and her staff sailed through all of it and made it work beautifully. Where we were disorganized, they stepped in and filled the gaps. Not to mention that everyone that worked that night was just plain kind. I felt like hugging them all as they left. If you hire Bristol for your event you will not be disappointed. Thanks Bristol!

We hired Bristol for our bartending services only. Bartenders weren't the most experienced, but they still got the job done! At one point they ran out of vodka and tequila, but they were able to fix the issue quickly. However, make sure when you pay for the " unlimited" per person, they bring enough for your guests.

I believe that other review was for the Bristol restaurant, this is for their catering department, totally different.
They helped me with catering my husband surprise 50th party at the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience this past weekend. THEY. WERE. AWESOME. Emilee helped me set everything up and went over all the details with me. We planned the menu, talked about the set up, the bar etc...They sent over 4 servers and they were GREAT. I didn't even talk to the lead lady - Colleen, until about an hour before the party was over, I was mingling with my guests. I told her that I had not one person
