Our family has been going to Black and Bass for 20 years. They have always been very professional, responsive, flexible and kind while providing good care. They explain what they are going to do before they proceed and each staff member works as part of the team in an efficient and consistent way. The office is always clean and the staff is on top of things. We took them for granted until a recent bad experience with an oral surgeon which ended well after Dr. Bass agreed to see us within hours, looked at the problem, calmed my daughter, and set up an appointment with the surgeon the same day. I am very happy with my dental work, the hygienists and the doctors. They were more than friendly, accommodating to my schedule and anxiety needs - which is why this has taken me a few months to decide to write, but I feel it is my duty to share my experience so no one else is taken advantage of.
Unfortunately, their staff / billing department failed to use correct language in regard to my insurance coverage which led to a surprise $1,200 bill. I agreed to about $500 for my services and paid that in full. After my dental work was complete - I was mailed another bill for about an additional $700

I had a terrible toothache all day I called around 3 o'clock thinking I wld get a appt Thurs or Fri esepcially bc I have never been there and they said come in at 4:40 I didn't have to wait long and I have anxiety about going they made it very easy. they worked on me for 2 hrs and squeezed me in. I think I found my new dentist. thank you to Dr bass and his great assistant.

I have always had a great experience with Black and Bass from cleanings to fillings to a root canal. The staff is so warm and welcoming. I usually see Dr. Bass and he's wonderful with explaining what he will be doing and he is very kind. Everyone is gentle and the office is very clean. You can listen to/watch TV while they work on your teeth if you like and they send reminders to you so you won't miss your appointment (I keep a planner but this is helpful to me!). I don't get anxiety when going to the dentist, but they are very accommodating if you do. I definitely recommend! Even if you're not

By far the best dental experience that I have ever had. I am the world's worst dental patient. Their patience and kindness with me was something that I never experienced before. My brother in law needed to have an emergency root canal the staff was very accommodating.. They walked us through the procedure with compassion and patience.. I can not say thank you enough for all you are doing for him... Being able to help us with payment is very appreciated... Thank you again to this very wonderful staff!!
