Dr. Martin is a primary care physician who offers safe, natural treatment options for the entire family. Her ability to offer continuity of care from birth and beyond provides patients the most holistic care available. As a naturopathic family doctor and pediatrician, she treats infants and children, adolescents, women and men and involves them as active participants in achieving optimal health.
Dr. Martin, a Northern Maine native, completed her premedical studies at Bowdoin College. She then earned her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, a six-year, nationally accredited medical school in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Martin practices naturopathic family medicine blending safe and effective traditional therapies with modern scientific knowledge. Our approach encompasses all aspects of family health from pediatric to well women care. Naturopathic physicians concentrate on whole-patient wellness and recognize that an individual's symptoms serve as guides to finding the underlying cause of illness.
Upon scheduling your first appointment you will receive an intake form that contains a thorough health history questionnaire about physical, mental, and emotional symptoms that you may be experiencing. She will utilize your health history during your initial visit that typically lasts between 60-90 minutes.
Dr. Martin is an in-network, primary care physician with the above plans. Please be aware of your current yearly deductible, co-payments and co-insurance amounts, as you may be responsible for the cost of your visit depending on your plan.
