Margery Keasler is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioner. She has been in practice since 1998, operating the Optimum Health Acupuncture clinic in Burlington Vermont. She offers Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Moxibustion (heat therapy), cupping, and Nutritional Counseling.
Acupuncture is a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine that originated over 2,000 years ago. Both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine are based on the belief that living beings have a vital energy called "Qi" that circulates throughout the body along 14 meridians. Each meridian corresponds to a major organ; for example, you have a lung meridian, a large intestine meridian, a kidney meridian, a bladder meridian, etc.
Acupuncture is a wonderfully wholistic system of medicine that promotes wellness, often treating more than one thing at a time. For example; a patient may come to the clinic for a migraine and mention an additional problem of insomnia, which Acupuncture can treat with great success. Another patient may come in with Sciatica pain, and be treated for anxiety at the same time.
I've gone to Optimum Health on and off over the last twenty years. I would highly recommend you give it a try if you have any ailment, pain or health related issue. I have severe arthritis in all of my joints and an autoimmune like illness that leaves me with low energy and a general malaise almost daily.
Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine have effectively treated women's health concerns for over 2,000 years. We treat a wide variety of conditions specific to women's health needs. I love Margery. She has been my acupuncturist since May 2018. She is amazing, and knowledgeable, and caring, and her treatments literally changed my life! I've had several acupuncture treatments in different places but Margery is by far the best! I also love the atmosphere at her office, it is very relaxing. And another thing that I really appreciate is that Margery is a great listener and thinks systemically. She is also very responsive and flexible to see you at a short notice when you need it. I have been to Optimum Acupuncture several times and was so impressed with a number of things including the incredible knowledge of Ms. Keasler about the process, and her very kind and supportive approach as well as the ease of making an appointment. After my amazing experiences I felt so lifted, centered and had very great energy. Besides the practitioner, the studio was beautiful and had a very healing vibe! I would highly recommend her for Acupuncture and feel the energy!

Marjorie is very sensitive and intuitive about health and emotional issues. She is very calming and caring, and will put you at ease immediately. Marjorie has helped me with chronic neck tension, and related overall anxiety. Many times during treatment I have fallen to sleep not to wake up until the session was over, feeling so so much better. She's pretty amazing. As soon as you step into her beautiful calming studio you just know you're going to feel better soon.

My first experience with acupuncture was with Margery at Optimum Health Acupuncture. I was anxious about the needles but Margery's kind and calming nature helped me to feel right at home.
