I have dental insurance and when I went here they said that I have to pay a small amount and insurance covers the rest. Then months later I start getting calls from collection agencies because apparently Family Dentistry didn't do something right with the insurance and now I owe $. I never agreed to pay that out of my pocket. They refused to waive it. They had all my insurance information from the beginning.

I would highly discourage any new clients from seeking appointments there. It seems to me that they are just interested in money - I did not even receive a cleaning as they said I have an "infection" and the hygienist won't provide a normal cleaning and will only provide a deep cleaning at a future date. I am almost 40 y/o and have received a cleaning EVERY time I have seen a dentist period! The office needs a thorough cleaning in certain areas such as window sills, etc. I will seek a second opinion as I highly doubt I have an "infection" and have no desire to pay approximately

I never write reviews but for this office I HAVE to, to warn people to never go to this dentist office! They will play you. The manager is probably the most evil rude person I’ve ever come across. I went to this office to get 2 of my teeth pulled out and I walked out with 5 taken out. They did not tell me about it and made me sign papers without verbally explaining to me what the plan was. I felt absolutely shocked and helpless. I then called them to resolve the situation in a polite manner to maybe work out a deal for the $3000 debt I felt into only to be yelled at by the manager of the office

A few weeks ago I scheduled an appointment for a simple cleaning. I was told they accept my insurance provider. Great. Cleaning scheduled.
Today, upon arriving to my appointment and only after filing out many forms I was told that they do not accept my insurance. (HELLO?)
It's as simple as that. It is evident that whoever took my initial call was either misinformed or not trained well and because of that , this review now exists.

"Accepting New Patients" coupon reads for emergencies, exams AND x-rays $49.00
I call to make an appointment, I am told it's $79.00
I tell the person It states $49.00 and expires the end of July 2020.
I am told "it's $79.00" like I never even spoke.
Then I'm informed it needs to be an "emergency".
So I tell the person "it is an emergency."
I am again told" it's $79.00."
Sounds to me like the very old and extremely annoying BAIT & SWITCH maneuver.

Dysfunctional Family Dentistry just sent out another mailing, doesn't it look so welcoming and homey? That's why I went but they are anything but! Look up all the reviews on Premier Dentistry who they affiliated with to get a better picture. They will up sell you lie etc. Try an ethical Dentist: East End Dental, Delray Beach.

I would definitely recommend this dentist. I came for a couple teeth cleaning and will go back for an extraction. I definitely recommend because I’m new to the area but the receptionist was very knowledgeable, respectful, and delightful. She will definitely be one of the reasons I return. If you call this dentist for questions your phone call is picked up fast, all questions will be answered.

Had a excellent experience yesterday from being treated amazingly by front desk ladies to all the staff and dentist.
As for the dentist , well she was really nice and Professional and did an amazing job.
I had to get 4 crowns done she explained everything well and they found me the cheapest way to do all the work.
Price was good and they all went the extra mile for me.
I highly recommend this place and give it 5 star rating I am very picky about my teeth and how they look and felt like I had excellent service.
