After establishing it in 1958, Ross C. Lane owned and operated Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel until 1986, when he retired due to his age, health and so he could travel and enjoy his farm. The staff of Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel has carried on the tradition of serving families in the same manner and respect that our business was originally built around.

She was a member of East Ridge Church of the Nazarene and prior New Life Baptist Church for many years. She loved her family and especially being with the grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shrum was preceded in death. She retired from First Federal after many years of service. Mrs. Faulkner enjoyed her last two years at Southern Heritage Assisted Living.
We are proud to offer funeral video streaming at our funeral home in Rossville. Using best in class recording equipment, we are able to provide high-quality funeral webcasts for friends and family who are unable to attend in person. Attending funerals can be difficult for families and friends who live afar.

Our experience ,during one of the most difficult times in our life was handled by a truly caring and kind staff. We were guided along from beginning to end with video photos and program layout (Kristen), choice of music (David), to designing the room with our loved ones artwork (Briana). We did not have to worry about any detail untouched. Linda and Susan were there to take our calls during the entire process. We are grateful!
