A dental filling is a restoration that is specifically used to fill in an area of one or more teeth that have become decayed. Dental decay, known as a cavity, can infiltrate a tooth and cause it to become weak. Over time, the decay essentially eats into the tooth to reach the inner pulp. Before the decay is allowed to get to this point, it's removed and replaced with a tooth-colored composite resin filling.
Extractions are done as a way to remove a problematic tooth. Unfortunately, a lot of people have teeth that are beyond the point of being saved. This can be a major issue for when you're trying to improve your oral health. Sealants have been used for years to help keep patients' teeth protected. These are clear coatings that can be applied to the biting and chewing surfaces of the back teeth. By covering these areas, they are less likely to become infiltrated by bacteria which could cause decay. This can prevent the need for eventual fillings, root canals and extractions.

I highly recommend Dr. Rivers and his incredible team! Everyone from the front desk, to the hygienist and Dr. Rivers are kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and just make you feel like family! It is first time in my 55 years that I haven't dreaded going to the dentist at all! It is truly a fantastic team!

The best experience I’ve ever had. Could not be more pleased from the time I walked in to leaving. Everyone so very friendly and all the reviews I read are so true. So happy I finally found a dentist that makes you feel comfortable and fixed my tooth better than before only wish I found Dr. Rivers sooner. I would highly recommend.

I've had a great experience with Dr. Rivers every time for the last 2yrs. He's very patient, takes his time in explaining everything in detail, an keeps you informed during the whole procedure.
