So, why do I do what I do? I love what I do and I never. When I was younger, I didn't really think that I was going to become a dentist. I never really aspired to that. In fact, I went off to undergraduate and studied engineering. And I was in the computer consulting world for several years but never felt totally fulfilled and wanted to help people more, in a more tangible way.
Dr. Wayne King is a leading endodontist in our area and the only endodontist in Hillsborough. He brings more than two decades of dental experience with him to Carolina Bright Smiles and is our resident root canal specialist. After completing a Bachelor of Science at Lenoir Rhyne College, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.

This is my new favorite dentist! I'm from out of town and they not only squeezed me in while on vacation but also called me twice when cancelations allowed them to move my appointment up to better fit my schedule. Then, they stayed until 6:30 to make sure all the work I needed performed was complete! Who does that?!
The office is very nice with modern equipment that the entire (friendly) staff made use of - I've never had a hygienist meticulously refer to my x-rays while cleaning, as if they were a set of instructions. I even noticed the hygienist and dentist discussing my cleaning while reviewing

After living 42 years with fairly bad discoloration on my upper teeth, I finally decided to fix the problem. Instead of veneers, Dr Vera wanted to take a different approach. We started with some aggressive whitening then a painless process to infiltrate the teeth and blend the color. The end result is nothing but perfection. No longer do I need to hold back my smile. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Thank you to all the folks at CBS.

This was my first visit to Bright Smiles and I was really impressed with the overall experience! The front desk was friendly and my wait was not very long. Susanne was my hygienist and she was awesome! She explained each procedure and was very patient and concerned about my comfort. Dr Garrett was very friendly and clearly explained any issues he felt may need attention in the near future. I am thrilled to find a new dentist and will not hesitate to keep up with my bi annual checkups!

For my entire life, as long as I can remember, I have absolutely hated to smile. I have… hidden my teeth, and have cried many, many tears through the years (many more than anyone in this world will ever know). Very hurtful things have been said, and even worse, were the things left unsaid but the looks said it all. I have smiled many fake smiles and unsure smiles because I really didn’t want to show my teeth. Even at 44 the words and the looks have affected me and

Horrible experience with this practice trying to schedule an appointment. Appointment was scheduled and I showed up and they informed me my appointment was changes and they left me a text message. I didn't receive it. Today I try to schedule an appointment for morning and they could not find any mornings available. I'll have to find another dentist.
