I have 2 boys and we hadn't had a family photo done since my first son was 1 year old (he's now 6!).

The first thing you'll notice when we chat on the phone is my accent! I'm British and moved from the UK to Rye, NY in 2005 when my kids were 5 and 7 years old. Fast forward to 2021 and I still have my accent, although the kids lost theirs within a few weeks of arriving!
We're now US citizens, my daughter graduated college in 2019 and is a Registered Pediatric Dietitian, and my son graduated college in May this year - how did that happen?! I cannot say enough good things about Jo. She not only took beautiful pictures of our family but also helped me the day of the shoot to style our outfits. We have two very active kids under 4 years and she still managed to capture some beautiful pictures! Jo will definitely be taking our pictures over and over again!

Jo is the BEST. Not only does she take the most beautiful photos, but she is a joy to work with and simply be around. Upon meeting her you immediately feel at ease which translates into naturally beautiful photos. From working with my 1 week old on a newborn shoot, to my entire extended family for a larger shoot, she can speak to and capture any life moment; and does it with kindness and grace. I was very hesitant about getting family photos. How would they turn out? How would our children fare during the session? Could we figure out what to wear?! All of these concerns were totally removed once we started working with Jo Bryan. She was very responsive before the shoot, helping to guide us with outfit suggestions and mood boards. I am so so happy we hired Jo for our family photography needs this year! Jo is all around lovely to work with! She is warm, caring, friendly, laid back, and GREAT with kids! I have a 3 year old and 1.5 year old and was so blown away by Jo's suggestion to come to our home and meet our little ones prior to the session. It made such a difference having a familiar face behind the camera the following week. Needless to say the session was a little wild with two little ones, but Jo managed to deliver amazing family photos and such sweet action shots that really captured our children's personalities!

We worked with Jo Bryan Photography last year for a photo shoot while we were in New York.
