Dr. James Gibson has been setting the highest standards in orthodontics since 2006. He is a graduate of Basic High School in Henderson, Nevada. He then attended Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah, where he earned his undergraduate degree before attending Loma Linda University. Dr. Gibson earned both his dental degree and his Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.

When is the best time to begin orthodontics? Though an orthodontist can enhance a smile at any age, there is an optimal time period to begin treatment. Beginning treatment at this time ensures the greatest result and the least amount of time and expense. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that the initial orthodontic evaluation should occur at the first sign of orthodontic problems or no later than age 7.

Dr Gibson, Miss Kelly, ALL of the technicians, office staff..... Cannot say enough about this place. These people... Life altering. Took a couple of kids with crooked teeth and gave them beautiful smiles and a whole lot of confidence. This place is so amazing. I would recommend them over and over. Always fit us in when time was available for us. Made the whole process from beginning to end easy peasy.

Rude and unprofessional staff member. After reaching out to the page on Facebook asking if somebody was available to talk, they responded "About what? " and immediately after, they responded with, "I'm available to chat. What can I help you with?"
I can see this person typing rude messages to patients and deleting them before sending the professional message, and I wouldn't doubt this is the type of person to go behind peoples' backs in the office and talk negatively about them and their children. Premier professionals! I and my children look forward to our Gibson appointments. The setup up is state of the art, the staff are knowledgeable, kind and courteous, and the treatment experience is light years from the pain and borderline mistreatment I received when I had braces in the mid to late 80's.

Dr. Gibson is far beyond amazing as well as his staff. My husband and I brought his 13 year old son here after a crazy custody battle with his ex wife. We were referred to him by a friend of my husband's who is a dentist not far from Dr. Gibson's office. My step son needed to have his braces removed and after getting custody we were both left in the dark about his case and his former orthodontist had sent us a retainer that had been sized while my step son's braces were still on (you can only imagine what a joke that one was) and a list of other doctor's who wanted to charge

Gibson orthodontics is the real deal! They are so friendly and professional. Dr. Gibson helped transform my smile over 6 years ago, and now they're helping my little brother with his braces journey. Dr. Gibson did the braces for both my kids and I could never say enough nice things about the whole experience. The office staff is amazing in their kindness and efficiency. The whole operation runs so smoothly, I wish other doctor offices could emulate it. I have had 4 years of office visits and always know for certain that upon arrival there is no wait. Dr. Gibson knows exactly how to get the results you need for a beautiful smile. I highly recommend him!

I am loyal to the city of Henderson, it's many residents, and the hardworking businesses. James Gibson is such a pleasure to have here in Henderson. Homegrown, working diligently for the customers needs. I was blown away by the initial reception I was given. Very professional and super courteous, customer service is second to none. My daughter needed braces, and the proof is in the pudding. Her exact quote "they're very nice there." That's all I needed to recommend to you. The whole staff made my kiddo feel special. It's just perfect.

As an adult dealing with Gibson Ortho, the office has always been great with scheduling, helping me get the appropriate documents I needed for an FSA claim, and having a generally good attitude.
Dr. Gibson himself is a great fellow as well, very reassuring in his practice.
My biggest complaint, and definitely not the offices fault and why it doesn't lose any stars, is the location. I wish it was closer to central or north west vegas, because that's where I have since moved! I started my treatment when I lived around 15 minutes away, but I've moved twice and my commute has evolved

This review is long overdue..!! I contacted Gibson Orthodontics to straighten a crooked tooth that was bothering me but nothing major. Dr. Gibson gave me the choice between invisalign and traditional braces, I asked for the difference between the two since he is the professional, he said" there is difference in price, invisialign is expensive and the process is longer but with invisalign u get to brush ur teeth, people won't notice u r wearing retainers but at the end u will end up with the same result". I was sold, I chose invisialign and I paid cash at once 4500$, I was excited

If you're in need of an orthodontist look no more, this place is awesome! The staff members are always happy and smiling. Wait times are minimal, appointment times are spot on. They tell you what's going to be done, how long it will take and they don't over book leaving you waiting for long periods of time. I can go on and on, they're all around wonderful!!

I've known Dr. Gibson since pre-school and I would expect nothing less from him. He's among the smartest people I have ever known and I have come in contact with some pretty sharp people in my time. He is the stick by which you can measure all doctors.
I had some minor problems with my teeth and I had a discussion with him about the problems. He took the opportunity to show me what an unbelievable professional

I can not stress enough what an amazing Dr. he is. Dr. Gibson took a chance with my case, referred me to an outstanding oral surgeon and gave me my smile back. He has returned my calls while on vacation, stayed late to help me, and accommodated all the extra visits my care has called for. If you ever need orthodontics do not hesitate. There is no one better in town. I LOVE this office. The staff is very professional and caring. The office is extremely clean and they have state of the art equipment. Its rare to find care that is so outstanding you feel like you should leave the braces on forever

Honestly the very best staff in this city! I can tell you from the sweet girls at the front desk to the ones doing the work to Dr Gibson himself, they are all wonderful! Both my kids go there and have been many times and it's always the best attitudes from ALL OF THEM! That's a rare thing in this town.

Truly a rare find in the southern Nevada area....in terms of orthodontists or even in general terms for doctors in the healthcare profession. Dr. Gibson and his staff are genuinely caring people and he takes time to not only take care of your teeth but make you feel like a human and not just another number. Up until a few years ago, I have always been terribly self-conscious about my smile. Among other things, my front two teeth were very crooked.
