While instilling values like respect, discipline, and confidence are important, these things cannot be done without cultivating the athlete's physical abilities first. Amid a martial arts culture that puts empty encouragement before true progress, our school has a new vision.
Services
The base style for New Vision Martial Arts is Tae-Kwan-Do for our Little Dragons and Juniors. Our adults' base style is 'Combat Tae-Kwan-Do. The reason why we use "base" style is simply that is where we start our growth in our program. TKD has a great foundation of flowing movements and muscle development.
Often now a day we hear the phrase "Health and Fitness" and how they go together. However, nothing can be farther from the truth. Health and Fitness are two completely different things, they can synergize together, but they are different. Meaning you can be very "fit" but extremely unhealthy. Likewise, you can be very healthy, but not in "fit" shape.
At this age there are several things to focus on when your child is in Martial Arts, we will describe them as follows:. To be able to develop basic motor skills, but we are sure you have heard this before. What does this all mean? There are two types of motor skills, Gross Motor Skills and Fine Motor Skills.
We focus on development on Intermediate - Advance Gross Motor and Fine Motor Skills. We will target specific muscle groups in every class, everything from major/large muscles to fast twitch fiber muscles that are required for quick reaction and motion. We will focus on Martial Arts techniques through fitness.

If I had to sum it up in one word, it'd be "comradery". Every class is intense, fun, and challenging. Mr. Koval is a fantastic instructor who is passionate about martial arts, and his students. If you haven't checked out one of his classes yet, you're missing out!

Wow. Mr. Koval is the best martial arts instructor we have ever seen or been taught by. My teenagers have been doing taekwondo at a different dojang for years and have earned second-degree black belt from the other place, but the quality of Mr. Koval's teaching cannot be compared. He makes all the difference and despite the distance from East Cobb, we trek here every day because his dedication and teaching really do matter. He conditions the entire body and mind, focused on foundational disciplines. I would recommend Mr. Koval for his integrity, belief in self-improvement through dedication
