Most eating disorder treatment programs start with the question, "How can we fit you into the treatment we offer?" At Veritas Collaborative we ask, "How can we give you the treatment you need?" It's a very different approach to care. But then, we built Veritas to be different, able to offer all levels of care, so you or your loved one can start at the level that truly meets your needs.

We treat people of all ages and genders, at any stage of life. And we build every care plan around best practices and proven therapies, delivered with expertise, understanding, and compassion. Our goal is to help anyone with an eating disorder get the care that's right for them at every stage of treatment-because that's the key to lasting recovery.
Services
Our treatment model is designed to meet you wherever you are in your recovery journey, at whatever stage of life, and to help you and your community of support develop the skills needed for lasting recovery.

We follow clinical best practices at all levels of care, and we consistently "treat to outcomes, " which simply means that our therapies, and the manner in which we provide them, have been shown to increase your likelihood of a positive outcome.
But not every beginning requires such a remarkable amount of courage. Our Intake & Admissions Team consists of Master's-Level Clinicians who are here to help you through every step of the admissions process. From the moment you reach out, we will provide support, education, and guidance to ensure that you or your loved one receives the care needed-and that means the right level of care at the right time.
That passion is what built Veritas, and every day it inspires our mission to drive an ever higher standard of care in eating disorder treatment. What we have been focused on all along is creating access to care for those patients and their families who would otherwise not have anywhere to go. We can help them access the right level of care at the right time.
Veritas Collaborative was founded to bring a higher standard of care to eating disorder treatment. Our Leadership Team not only embraces that mission, we've spent our professional lives pursuing it. Members of our Leadership Team have been at the forefront of eating disorder treatment and advocacy for decades.
Accanto Health is the parent company of Veritas Collaborative and The Emily Program, two nationally known eating disorder programs offering a full continuum of care. Accanto means "beside" in Italian. This speaks to our commitment to serve our clients the whole way through their treatment journeys, across all services and levels of care.

I was a frontline employee at Veritas Collaborative for several years, and I feel a duty to warn prospective patients of this place publicly.
First, the programming is an embarrassment. Despite charging thousand(s) of dollars a day, the therapy is almost nonexistent. Patients have about two groups a day and spend the majority of that group playing a warm up game. Groups always end early, and the group content itself is almost never applied to actual eating disorders situations. The patients are left with some “skill” they have been taught but no explanation of how to apply it to their actual

Avoid this place if you can. I only stayed here for as long as I did, because it was my first time in treatment and I didn't know any better. Now that I've been to other treatment centers and received better help, I know how bad things were at Veritas.
For context, my stay was two years ago. First of all, it took weeks of a 17 year old male patient touching other patients inappropriately for him to get removed. The initial complaints from female patients were brushed off as bullying, and they were told to stop. It wasn't until one of his inappropriate love letters to a 13 year old girl was caught

I was at veritas collaborative from the end of July 2021 to the end of August 2021. My experience was very.... interesting. The upside is that i made a bunch of friends but there was also a rlly annoying person there. Some of the ta's were very nice, and some were really strict and not the nicest. When we were trying to sleep the night ta's would talk and be really loud so it took me like a really long time to fall asleep. They definitely need better and more qualified staff. veritas also needs to make groups more frequent so we're not sitting in the common rooms for most of the day and actually

My daughter is just started the process of getting admitted here. I have been given nothing but the run around n been told they would have a intake date for her the next day for almost a week now. We still have not got a intake date. I already chosen this place and the hospital where she is at is not letting me change facilities. My advice is if your looking for a straightforward intake and a fast process. Do not start here.

This place is awful. I came here hoping i would get good therapy but i was wrong. I needed help so badly. All they care about is you gaining weight, they give you little to no therapy. I'm sorry, but that's not how it works. You do nothing all day but sit in a room and watch tv. My therapist told me she would meat with me several times but never did. The food is nasty. Even when you have a stomach problem, they make you eat. I spilled my m&ms on the floor one time, and the lady picked it up and made me eat it from her hands. Please, whatever you do, do not come here.

Where do I begin? Most TAs were ok but a few were horrible. One TA named Tiana obviously didn't understand EDs at all and said they weren't a mental illness which I and others were offended by. For such a food centered place there was very little food variety and if a patient didn't like a certain food it was brushed aside as a behavior and they would be forced to eat it or face consequences. Patients that struggled with self harm or certain behaviors were punished instead of helped, like only being allowed a few minutes of phone time and not being allowed to go outside for patio. I'm vegetarian

If I could give negative stars I would! Please parents. Find another place for your child. This is NOT a place for a child. They do not do what the handbook says, they use threats to make our child to do things. My child came out after 3 weeks with having nightmares, fears, and none of this was happening before, they do skin checks more than they say they
This place needs to be shut down. Within 2 hours of being there, they were threatening my daughter of tubing her.

I left Veritas 6 years ago. After my human rights were violated many times, I was sedated multiple times a day for getting “too upset”, and I had been given a horrible concoction of psychiatric medication that sent me into a state of psychosis, I am still recovering from my stay there. Because of the lack of treatment I received, I will NEVER EVER go back to any sort of inpatient or residential facility, no matter how much I need it. I have in no way recovered from the trauma I received at Veritas. Because of Veritas’ ignorance with psychiatric medications, I refuse to try any new medications

My family and I will forever be grateful to the amazing team that we worked with at Veritas. You never want to see your children hurting especially when you can’t make it better and on top of that when your child has to be hours away from you living with strangers for weeks it is terrifying. Our whole team was amazing and definitely put us at ease. We were in constant contact about every single thing. We were blessed to be able to work closely with Daria, our daughters Therapist. She was so sweet, and caring and is someone I am now proud to call family. Everyone we came in contact with at Veritas
