Friendly customer service, but they seemed a little unsure of what they were doing. I traded in my car a few weeks back, and they didn't even know I was trading it in, until about an hour into the trade. Car salesmen usually ask you right away if it's a trade. They told us we had to wait, until the insurance company told them the new car was insured, telling us it was a law. We found out later it's not a law. Insurance companies give about 2 weeks for the customer to insure it after the purchase. They replaced my new car's tires, and did NOT re-set the tire sensors, they didn't re-charge the air

I hate buying cars. Always have. So, I absolutely DREADED today, knowing we HAD to purchase a car. I had a financing preapproval that was tied PENN Auto Group, so there I went. I didn't know what car I wanted because what I could afford depended upon interest rates, etc. I was in knots of anxiety. Then I met Jake and Jim Pearce. They welcomed me with open arms, explained how financing works (I've previously had the luxury of buying cars with cash), and found various cars at various Star Automotive (they belong to that family of dealerships) lots that I could test drive. Had a engine put in at this place. Was told they be as good as the dealer and that I'd get a year warranty.
When picked up the car. And laying down $5800. When told it be about $4500. .When i asked about warranty. I was told there is none. Really 5800 of work and no warranty. Dam who does a thing After a hour of squabbling i had to accept the fact i was told the wrong information.
Did not get 2 miles away before check engine light came on. And had to turn around to have this checked out. They kindly took the car in as i spent my day in the waiting room. The result was they had to get the

Do not even waste your time. Bought a car that couldn't even get me home. Had to get the car towed 120 miles, cost me $550. The dealership has refused to reimburse my money for the tow and the general manager hung up on me. Not only that but I have had to get multiple repairs and still have to get multiple repairs on it.

I called and enquired about getting a car from this company, I was advised to apply for the finance directly online to see if I qualify for the car I was looking at. Once I completed the application I did receive a call saying they would be looking into all the options but that was 10 days ago and I still have not heard back from them about this, I have however had calls from their sales department. Not good. I believe the car i was looking at has now been sold as it is not on their website and this is the reason they have not called me back.

A sign of good customer service is to listen to the customer!!! Saynmoh not only listen to us, but got us a great minivan in our price point. Sales to the Finances Department we are very pleased with the services we received.

Got my Toyota from this place, great service from all the staff in general. Don't remember the manager's name, but he was very helpful. Got me a great deal, and a fair price for a beautiful car...which has not given me a problem at all so far. Definitely go check them out. We found a car through Penn Auto Group that was a great deal! The salespeople were very helpful and friendly! My only complaint in general is that the website is not always 100% up to date, so you may see cars there that have already sold, and this location specifically doesn't have the greatest selection. But I like that there is no haggling, and that they are offering great deals, and that it never feels like they are trying to cheat you. It's no surprise to me that people come from other states all over to buy their cars here. Thanks for our sweet ride! We'll be back!

Worse place to buy a car..beware..you have been warned!! i don't even know where to start honestly. first off over the phone they sounded very professional and very willing to give me a great price on a suv my wife wanted. i almost got a perfect credit score so i told them that and they told me with that score i could bring it home so we agreed on a price and 5 year term. i got everything set up since i live in maryland and headed up to penn auto, after talking to the manager.

Do not trust this place. They will tell you anything to get you in the door, however once there things will change. This does not matter if you are a customer or newly hired employee. I have been in Auto Sales for 20 years so I know what I am talking about. Whether it's prices or pay plans things are changed once there. Shame on me for not getting things in writing, but I thought I could trust someone who I thought was a friend; since I have known to " managers" there for more than 11 years.
