Ron Aseltine has practiced law since 1980. He graduated from the University of Maine in 1977 (with High Distinction and Honors), and obtained his law degree from The George Washington University in 1980. He was first admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1980, where he served as in-house counsel to Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, and later for State Mutual Life Insurance Company.
Ron Aseltine has over 20 years of experience as a Real Estate Attorney in the Western Maine foothills area. He has personally searched thousands of titles, and closed almost as many real estate transactions. He is timely, with a goal of being ready for closing within 2 weeks of receiving a request for a title.
Foothills Title Company provides Western Maine with title insurance and related real estate and mortgage transaction services to individual consumers, mortgage lenders, businesses and government agencies. Foothills Title Company is a full service title company offering residential and commercial title, closing, escrow and real estate services.

We have had Attorney Ron Aseltine take care of our legal needs on several occasions. He has prepared our Wills, handled the Deed preparation and closings of properties and guided us through the Probate process from beginning to end. He is always professional, respectful and prompt. I have retained Ron Aseltine’s legal services 3 times over the past 2 ½ years. When a land survey over a disputed property boundary revealed that the property in question actually did belong to me; the opposing party increased their verbal insults, and eventually assaulted one of my family members. Law enforcement and the town officials were barraged with numerous phone calls and complaints from the opposing party, with no let up. I was at my whit’s end, and quickly could have found myself arrested and jailed, if not for Ron’s sound legal advice. Even though Ron explained that I had cause

Please have some integrity and fix what you are in the process of doing and you will get a better review. A lawyer should at least show some interest in the truth and not just a payday and loop holes. You were dishonest and disrespectfull to me and my wife at the very most as far as I can tell from our last meeting and letters that I have received about you and your clients trying to steal my back lawn. How can you sleep at night?!
