Our custom designs are entirely inspired by you, which means that a very important part of our custom process is taking the time to get to know each other. We'll have a design consultation to get an idea of what you're looking for, and we'll follow up with a design proposal to start the process.
We love to meet with you right in our Morristown, New Jersey design studio, but if you're too far away, we can always make it work over the phone or via email.Once you've seen the proposal, we require a 50% design deposit, which will be applied to the final balance of your order. This will officially assign a designer to your project, and secure your spot in our production calendar.

Little Black Dress Paperie is FABULOUS! They helped us through the entire process of customizing a gorgeous wedding invitation suite as well as other products for our wedding day. We work with many reliable industry experts to provide a variety of cutting-edge printing methods in our designs. Our most popular methods include engraving, foil, letterpress, embossing, de-embossing, thermography, and hand calligraphy. If you're interested in another method, please let us know! We are super excited to meet you! Our consultations generally last 1 to 1.5 hours. Please plan on arriving a few minutes early so that you may browse the designs in our studio. Based on your inspirations from our studio, our invitation designers will be that much prepared for an exciting and collaborative meeting.

LBDP was one of my favorite wedding vendors. Christine and Patty were beyond helpful in assisting me in choosing change the dates, invites, and day-of stationary. My invitations were absolutely gorgeous. I will admit, we did not try to cut cost on invitations so they were pricey but that was by choice. During our consultation, Patty guided us through all our options based on what we wanted to spend. Special shout out to Christine for answer any and other questions, sending me proofs over and over, and creating some really beautiful stationary for our wedding!

Little Black Dress Paperie created the most elegant save the dates and wedding invitations. We got so many compliments on how beautifully they were made. Christine was great to work with and quick to reply to any emails. They even did free guest addressing, which came out great. Cannot thank them enough. Highly recommend!

Would not recommend. Not welcoming at all and very dismissive ! I seen another person write the same review and it’s true. She told me to look around then she went to sit down and NEVER got back up, just went to continue with other work. They were just very rude and I will happily take my money somewhere else. First bad customer service experience while planning my wedding. Wish I never even went there.

Patti and her team at LBD did an exceptional job on our invitations. They came out beautifully and her insight and design expertise was helpful as I was very indecisive! She recommends appointments but was able to accommodate my walk in. I appreciate her quick response to my emails and questions along the way, and she had the invites printed on short notice.

Patty and Claudia were extremely easy to work with and answered emails quickly and efficiently.
