I am originally from New England and spent most of my childhood in Barnstable, Massachusetts, a little town on Cape Cod. I went to Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts for my undergraduate degree in Biology. After college I attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Following Dental School I continued my training and completed the two-year orthodontic residency program at Tufts in 1985.
For several years after my residency I taught part time at Tufts Dental School. I married my wife Julie in 1993 and moved to Arizona in September of 1996. We have four daughters who were all born here in Arizona. My family and I love living here and enjoy many of the outdoor activities that our state offers.

We look forward to meeting you on your first visit to our office. During this time, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about orthodontic treatment. We understand that each patient's orthodontic treatment needs are different, and we are dedicated to give you the personal attention you deserve.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that the initial orthodontic evaluation should occur at the first sign of orthodontic problems or no later than age 7. At this early age, orthodontic treatment may not be necessary, but an examination can anticipate the most advantageous time to start treatment.
A Proxabrush is an interdental (between the teeth) toothbrush that you may use to clean underneath and around your wires and braces. Use the Proxabrush gently to avoid damaging your wires. The Proxabrush will help you to clean your braces while maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Peroxyl, a hydrogen peroxide antiseptic mouth rinse, will reduce inflammation to your gums and cheeks.

It's been a long time since I had my braces done, however Dr. Glovsky did an amazing job. He ensures everything looks good and takes his time with your teeth. He might be slightly more expensive than other orthodontists (from what I remember), but I definitely feel he's one of the best.
My only recommendation is to get both a top and bottom wire, as long as you're okay with the extra teeth that need to use threaders to floss.

My two visits went great and now I have a set of traditional wire braces. The front office staff are accommodating and very friendly as you check in. Dr. Glovsky and his Back office staff are fast, clean, and answer every question! They are all super kind and very informative. I highly recommend this office.

2nd update--
After all that I have written below.....
I just got paperwork from my insurance company--Dr Glovsky billed my company again for 3 MORE months of treatment he did not provide to my son!!! (The 2nd time he has done this.)
This means he has continued billing my insurance company for MORE than 6 months AFTER WE LEFT HIS PRACTICE!!!! (In addition to charging us for more than 6 months of care he did not provide us either!!!)
I just called my insurance fraud hotline (the number listed to call when a provider has charged for "services not provided") and reported him for

We LOVE Glovsky orthodontics! My son has an irrational fear of dentists and always has so when the time came to get braces I was just dreading the experience. I heard wonderful things about Dr. Glovsky's office so I grit my teeth and made the appointment. From the first time we walked through the door it has been an amazing experience. They set up a payment plan with no interest which was incredibly helpful but most importantly my son felt comfortable there.
