Services
Along with our colleagues at The People's Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA), we work to employ, encourage, train and mentor licensed acupuncturists who wish to follow the Community Acupuncture clinic model, helping to make acupuncture available to anybody in the U.S. who is interested, regardless of means or insurance coverage.
We make acupuncture as affordable as we can by offering sliding scale pricing to everyone, everyday. Community acupuncture is available for $25 - $50, with an extra $15 intake fee due at your first visit. You decide what fits your budget so that you can receive acupuncture. No financial questions asked.
Please include a note along with payment with the recipient's name and if you want us to mail the gift certificate or set it aside at the clinic for when we reopen. If you want us to mail it, please include an address. Note: If you are able, please consider paying a little higher in the sliding scale to help offset PayPal fees.
We will not treat anyone who is sick or symptomatic. If you are sick or symptomatic, please stay home and contact your primary care physician. Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most common and dependable medical therapies used in the world. It is by nature simple, safe and effective health care.

Parking is available in the lots to the side of our building (there is a giant mural painted on building 302) behind building 320 (entrance is off N. Goodman just before the train tracks) or to the very back of Village Gate behind building 274. If you park behind building 320, take the sidewalk along N. Goodman to get to our building (302).

After years of seeing one pain management doctor after another, and getting no relief from their pills and injections, acupuncture (and specifically RCA) changed my life. With regular acupuncture treatments my pain is finally under control and I can live a normal life again. It’s also helped with my anxiety, sleep issues and overall mental well-being. Their Community structure allowed me to continue receiving treatments even when I lost my job and medical insurance. Because they can see multiple clients at a time it makes it easy to get an appointment, usually within a few days.

Charlotans of the most detested brand. Taking advantage of the poor and desperate at the fairest and most socially righteous price in town. I'm in way more pain than when I arrived, and they were unable to provide a shred of theory as to how acupuncture heals pain that accounts for the confound of pain decreasing naturally over time. Useless. Hogwash. Bad science. Crystal gazing quacks and deceptive montebanks veiling their trickery behind a curtain of perceived public service.

Highly recommended. The sliding scale makes it affordable (treatments start at 20 dollars), and the community setting is relaxing, low light, quiet, and there is always relaxing music playing. You get to take an hour nap while the acupuncture happens. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, I go back here whether it's to help with allergy symptoms or low back pain.

I have been coming for treatment to Rochester Community Acupuncture (RCA) for about a year. RCA is an inviting and friendly place. The acupuncturist are professional, yet warm and friendly. The initial intake is thorough and with each session they take time to inquire about any new issues or changes you might be experiencing.
I initially came to RCA for a chronic low back problem. I found that acupuncture not only relieved my back pain but helped my overall well-being. I sleep better, have more energy and acupuncture has helped in relieving my stress.

I have been going to Rochester Community Acupuncture for over 5 years and every time has been a great experience. They are friendly and responsive to your specific issues that you may be having. I would recommend acupuncture to anyone that is currently dealing with a concern whether big or small. The best part, it's an affordable treatment that works!
