For any customer requesting a photo estimate, we require both an email address and a good phone number as we may need to contact you with any questions regarding damage to your vehicle. Any estimate provided by photos will likely require an in-person review of damage to confirm accurate pricing if the customer wishes to have the vehicle repaired.
You paint vehicles for collision repairs, how come you do not offer complete vehicle re-paint jobs? Do to the amount of time and high cost for our shop to complete entire vehicle re-paints, we do not offer that service to our customers. What if I want to have my vehicle repaired and then just send a bill to my insurance company later?

I highly recommend Hanagan’s. The process was so easy and quick. For my first time dealing with a repair, I did very little and they were easy to talk to. They were right on time with the deadline and kept me informed with the entire process of the repair. I will definitely go to them for future repairs.

Hannigan's is THE body shop for my family and everyone that's asks. I will continue to send people here because of their warm customer service, realistic expectations, cost effectiveness, and respect for my pockets! My mother was told she needed to have a laundry list of things done at a different shop. Sent her to Hannigans and they provided her with a more truthful explanation of her needs and warned her against companies that may take advantage. I trust Hannigans. 100%!

Crammed on a hidden side street in downtown Silver Spring, and sharing a block with other body shops, Hanagan’s is a 3rd-generation family firm that does superb work on all vehicles. I have used them 3 times, have found them to be easy to work with, honest and have never been disappointed.

I spoke to Anthony, who immediately came out and, after providing a detailed estimate, made sure I had no questions before I left my car there. They texted me every other day letting me know the status of the car and it was available exactly when they said it would be. Happy to report the car came out looking great. They even provided a small refund on the cost and labor of a small cosmetic part they had originally quoted that had come off in the collision

It can be heard to find a good auto mechanic, but I was very pleased with the service I received at Hanagan's. I took my car here a few years back for a minor auto repair. This place is a little hidden gem, tucked away on a nondescript street just down from the downtown Silver Spring shopping district. IIRC, the shop was a little on the pricy side, but the quality and timeliness of the service could not be beat. I also remember waiting inside on a couch in a clean, well-lit waiting area while my car was being serviced (though I'm sure that's no longer allowed during COVID).

They took my poor baby that had $6000 worth of damage from a rear end and sideswipe and brought her back to new. They were recommended to me by my director and I am thrilled with the work they did. Now I don't want to have to take my car in for any more body work in the future, but if I need to, I know who to call.

This Silver Spring body shop is the brother shop to Hanagan's Auto in Gaithersburg that specializes in mechanical work. Hanagan's Auto Body easily earns five star customer and technical service both. Don't forget, they're honest people top to bottom, so be confident the quote they give you in parts, level of effort and labor is the real deal. I've found my auto body shop after decades searching for the right fit. I'll be returning (but hopefully not too soon!).

Couldn't be happier with my turn out. They fixed everything in a great and timely manor and kept me updated which i greatly appreciated. I've taken my cars here a few times and I never want to go anywhere else. They are super detailed and will go over any questions I have anytime. Great place. Great work. Great price. Awesome staff! I am very satisfied with Hanagan's. I used their service to repair my car last year and was very impressed by workmanship. My car looked it was never hit.
2 weeks ago, my car was hit while it was parked. It was damaged significantly and needed to be towed. Even though my car is still in the shop, I am very satisfied with the service provided thus far. Julian and Jimmy answered all my questions. Jimmy called back today to let me know the repair has been delayed by a day--I appreciate that kind of service.

Last year, my car was annihilated while parked along the street. Hanagan's was a choice covered by my insurance, so I chose them. Holy smokes, I couldn't have made a better decision if I had tried.
Sean took my car in and stayed in communication with me throughout the whole process. He kept me appraised of what certain insurance procedures and timelines were, and emailed (per my request instead of phone calls) me updates regularly over the month it took to do all the repairs

My Acura vehicle was damaged in a hit-and-run incident and damaged was on the passenger side of my vehicle. Hanagan's was one of the preferred repair shops listed by my insurance. I decided to use Hanagan's and am very pleased I used them. The whole process was seamless. They kept me updated on every step, and took time to explain to me the work they would be doing. The estimated repair was time given was a week, and the work was completed within the estimated time. When I picked the car up, it looked like new, again. I would recommend and definitely use Hanagan again...if needed

This is a great family owned body & mechanic shop. They have been in business for many years. Located in the downtown Silver Spring area, their shop staff are friendly, reliable, reasonable and honest.
I have had work done from the body shop which always comes out completely done with no issues. Many different cars and trucks, so they can do it all. Work with or without insurance claims.
Don't even hesitate to use them. Support your local businesses!! They are really great at what they do!!

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. They said they could fix the car within a week over the phone, then said when I arrived that they were completely booked. They clearly lied just to get customers in the door, horrible business practices from a small dingy office in Silver Spring. Avoid this place!!

I scratched the side door of our car (2002 Acura MDX) in a parking garage. The estimate was over $1,000 which wasn't worth it because the car is so old (over 200,000 miles). Instead, I asked them if they could just try to make it look "less bad" for a couple hundred bucks which what I was willing to spend so my dad wouldn't keep mentioning the scratch when we visited.
They ended up covering up the rust on the wheel well which definitely helped with appearances. They weren't, however, able to do much with the other dents and scratches on the door so they ended up not

I had an excellent experience with Hanagan's. I found this shop through my auto insurance, and was happy to see the excellent reviews. I did a lot of research before dropping off my car, which still had temp tags at the time of the unfortunate incident that required body work. I wanted to work with a Porsche-certified auto body shop, but none of them had nearly as good reviews as Hanagan's. So...
1. Customer Service- Excellent. I walked in first thing on a Monday to drop off my car without calling ahead.The woman at the front desk was very helpful, and even called my insurance company

I did a search on Yelp to find a auto body shop near my job after a cab driver hit my car. I found Hanagan's, and I am so happy I did.
From the very first time I walked in, I got that old school feeling. They just seemed like they know what they are doing. The atmosphere is real layed back, but not in a rude sort of way. I received an estimate in 15 minutes with a smile. They even put a quarter in my meter so that I wouldn't get a ticket while I waited.
Two weeks later, I scheduled to bring my car in. They ordered my parts with a $300 deposit the day before I dropped it off.
