My love for construction started as a boy doing home additions and building a family cabin from the ground up with my dad. I knew then that building was my passion. I graduated high school with a full-ride scholarship to Arizona State University in Construction Management. I graduated cum laude from ASU in May of 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Construction Management.
That same year I started my first business as a new construction plumber in Phoenix, AZ. I had much success with that business that in 2004 I got my general contractor license and began building homes and commercial buildings. My wife and I decided we wanted to move to the cold country and raise our children in a small town.

We often refer to our approach to building custom homes as "Building the Riteway", or the "Riteway Difference". Q1 - How close do you stay to time lines and budgets? The budget and a reasonable time frame are stated in the contract, which is signed by all parties with copies provided before break ground or start any project. There is an Act of God provision in the contract.

Riteway builders did an excellent job building a pole barn/shop for us. The 40’x50’ pole barn/shop was built in a location that required well water line and well electrical line to be relocated. Riteway builders did this without any issues. I especially appreciated the scheduling of work to be done which was spot on. I would highly recommend Riteway to build this type of structure or a house as well. My experience has been they are a from start to finish company with quality unsurpassed.

Riteway builders recently completed a new home for us in Emmett Idaho. We’re extremely happy with the quality of the work and with the management of the construction process. Riteway builders uses a project management tool call Builder Trend. They are really good about posting photographs during the construction phase if you can’t be on site. Also Riteway uses Builder Trend to track change orders. You always know exactly where you are with relationship to the total project cost. We found Riteway to be very accurate on the forecast of the completion schedule.

Riteway Builders is an awesome construction company to work with. They truly want what you want, and will make changes or whatever it takes for you to be satisfied with the finished product. Both Chad and Darrin were great to work with. You never had to wait long at all for a response either by text or phone call. I would absolutely recommend this company to any prospective client.

Absolutely impressed with the personal service we received, from the very 1st phone call to receiving the keys to our new home! Darin’s communication skills, pure honesty and setting realistic expectations with us, made our experience a wonderful and seamless one. They were so organized and on top of things. Budget was extremely important to us, Darin was very aware of every dollar spent. We finished under budget and was able to finish things we didn’t expect to. Definitely grateful we found Riteway builders and had such a good experience building our 1st home.

Excellent communication skills, excellent construction management skills, excellent quality! Darin has been impressively responsive in communicating to us. Whether it be by phone, email, or text message, he is always ready with a quick response. Even if it is just a quick response to let us know we have been heard. I built houses myself in the 1990's and most of our custom homes took 6 months to build. We were delighted to find that Darin would be completing our house in a little over 4 months, even with the challenges of an Idaho winter. Our budget was flexible, and Darin was willing
