Being a traditional preschool, a great deal of emphasis is placed on a child's social, emotional and cognitive development. Our three age based groups participate in developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day and certain opportunities are provided for all age groups to interact.

Mrs. Murray's Nursery School is an private preschool specializing in the early education of children 2.9 to 5 years of age living in Newburyport and the greater Newburyport area; Amesbury, Boxford, Byfield, Merrimac, Newbury, Salisbury, West Newbury, and Southern New Hampshire. We believe the early childhood years are a pivotal time in a child's life.
Outdoor Activities: Weather permitting, This may include: Nature walks, scavenger hunts, gross motor skills, story time and snack. Public registration begins in December. Calls/Emails will be made to schedule appointments for prospective students on our contact list. On the day of the appointment, the parent and child will meet with the director for a 30 minute guided tour.
