Our goal at The Learning Tree is to provide a place for preschool aged children to explore and investigate while being in a safe and healthy environment. We want our children to learn at their own pace while becoming comfortable away from their caregivers. We will provide them with fun experiences, new ideas and opportunities to grow as unique individuals.
Services
The Learning Tree is a well established, reputable preschool located in the Old Town Hall building in West Newbury, Massachusetts. We have been located here in this beautiful country setting since 2005. We offer three morning programs during the school year. We have a two-day program for children ages 2.9-4 years old, from 8:50am-12:00pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
Each Friday we do a simple and fun science experiment that directly relates to the unit we are covering. The experiments are done in small groups and each child is able to do the experiment and take home the end product along with a description of the experiment to share at home. Science Fridays are a great way for the students to explore, work together and discover.
The learning tree preschool has served our family since 2019, when our son Was 2.5 years old. Since that first day We felt completely at ease knowing that our son was in the best of hands. Learning tree preschool is a close knit family network that pays close attention to each childvDs individual needs.
Yoga for kids is a introduction to simple yoga postures for children. Using the alphabet, rhyming and fun. Each pose promotes flexibility and coordination, while encouraging kids to incorporate healthy activity into their daily lives. We will introduce poses such as Alligator and flower, as well as traditional poses like cobra, dog, tree and butterfly.
