I wanted to be a stylist since I was a little girl, so I'm lucky that I still love what I do after 20+ years. Since styles and techniques are constantly changing, there's always something new for me to learn, some new way to challenge myself. I've been going to Katie forever, she is my savior. Last year she talked me into going from brunette to blond. I have never loved any decision I have made more than this. More than the color, her hair cuts are top notch. Dineen, Andrea, and Olivia are also wonderful. I would highly recommend Rinse Hair Studio.

I was buzzing my head over the pandemic and was long overdue but decided to get a professional haircut. Sure I could've saved a few bucks by going to a barber but I always felt a stylist would be more attentive.
I am new to town so I chose Rinse as I live very nearby. I am glad I did. Andrea did a great job. I will be coming back.

Saw they had appointments available on Instagram day-of and decided to give it a shot. First time and my cut with Katie is SO cute and much needed after I took the shears to my head during quarantine (oops!). She totally achieved what I wanted. Very chill vibe as well which made me feel at home. Definitely will be booking again. I recommend!

Cut, all different manner of color and updo's for special occasions, I don't trust anyone else with my hair. Their salon is very clean, Covid-aware, friendly and relaxing. Definitely book an appointment with them!

I've been coming here to see Andrea for a few years now, and she & Rinse have never disappointed! All the ladies are welcoming & personable, and Andrea always takes extra time to cut/style my hair just right. Anytime I come in with a picture or describe what I want, she always gets it right, even when I'm unable to perfectly articulate it. Really reasonable prices as well and super cute space!

Katie is the best! I've been seeing her for about a year and a half now and she always does an amazing job with my highlights and haircut, and her blowouts are seriously perfection. She's always ready to help me achieve a new look or give me her opinion (always kindly and gently) if she's not sure what I want is right for me. This is exactly what a good stylist should do! We recently went for a major color change and I love it and have never received more compliments on my hair! Been coming here since march 2019 and the whole staff is wonderful, Katie has been cutting my hair since,.My last visit i had to wait 50 minutes which i didn't mind. My cut was beautiful. I was shocked when i payed for the service which Katie charged me $58.00 and all my other appointments were $50.00. I like it here but can not afford $58.00 on really short hair when all i had done was a cut and blow dry for 58. Dollars.

Unfortunately this place was a complete let down. I came in for a cut and full highlight. My haircut was totally fine since I did not do anything outrageous. Sydney who colored my hair i completely don't know what she even did the whole time she was working on my hair. After "highlighting" my hair for over 3 hours my hair came out darker then when i went in and my roots were still visible. I have very blonde hair and have been getting highlights for years and I have never had this happen. I have been going to Rinse for about a year now and absolutely love it. The atmosphere there is friendly and welcoming, the ladies who run it are down to earth and warm. Many salons cut clients hair without truly understanding what their client wants and often do now listen to requests. These ladies do, throughout the entire experience they communicate and offer their professional opinion. I regularly see Andrea now and I feel she is the best fit for my thick wavy hair. Only negative, I'm never seen on time and have 20 minute waits.

The town of Wakefield is saturated with hair salons. So much so, you could easily bounce around for a year and never go to the same one twice. I've been by Rinse before because I like going to the Porch which neighbors it. I've always thought the interior of Rinse looked really nice and since I botched my own haircut, I decided to give Rinse a try after conducting some research. I visited Rinse a couple weeks ago for a trim and I loved my time here! Andrea was my stylist and she is so sweet and very easy to talk with. I told her I wanted about one and a half inches off, and she listened and gave me just what I asked for.
I made the trip here from Wakefield from the city (I live just outside of Boston) and I would easily come back here despite living so close to all of the Newbury Street salons. Andrea was specifically recommended to me by a friend who has been her client for years, and I am happy I listened to her.

I liked this salon, and got a couple of good haircuts, but I won't be going back. On my last visit, while I was having my hair cut, one of the owners was hanging around by the sinks with a young man -- I assume he was a client, but I'm not sure. The two of them were very loudly gossiping about a female client who had a crush on the young man -- they were saying terribly unkind things about her, insulting her looks, her clothing, calling her fat and pathetic, just trashing her. I was sitting right there, where I could hear every word. I couldn't help but wonder what they said about

I was in desperate need of a good haircut and decided to give Rinse a try. I have driven by the salon many times and always noticed the cute decor through the windows. When you walk in, you instantly feel welcome. The salon is bright and festive and everyone is so friendly! I was seen for my appointment on time and had an amazing haircut! After Katie washed, cut and blow dried my hair---given that my hair is so thick---she dry cut into it to give it much needed style. I love it!

Shameful! Keeping a long-time customer with a confirmed appointment waiting for over 30 minutes without so much as offering a sip of water or "we're really busy this afternoon; be right with you" is a surefire way to lose a customer. Maybe they don't care any more for the "low-profit-margin" services! No worries, I won't be back!

I've been seeing Katie for 5+ years, and u may never leave! She's opened this new space and it's cool, chic and fun. Katie always listens to what I want and makes suggestions that will look good on me. Great location in Wakefield, right on the lowell commuter line, and plenty of parking. The staff is all friendly & welcoming, and takes good care of you. I always love how I look and feel when I leave the salon. Come check it out!
