I decided to try Hairmates after reading the great Google reviews and I was completely blown away with the whole experience! I had the pleasure of meeting Renata and she made me feel so so comfortable and welcome. She did such an amazing job coloring my roots and I was so happy with the healthiness of my hair afterwards. I could NOT recommend her enough and will definitely be back for a visit! (Also shoutout to Abby for being such a joy and a great moral support/help during the whole process!!) :)

Visited from out of town, had a bad experience. Haircut itself was not bad but the owner "George" does not care about customer experience at all. He was rude and unprofessional. I was quoted a different price before service and asked for higher price later. You can't rely on the information you get at reception desk because there are multiple businesses being served by same reception. It might be a good place for people who know how things work at this place, but if you are a first time customer or just passing by and thinking to get service on the way, it might be a good idea to look for another

Got my hair done here with my hair stylist Casey who always does an amazing job! I will not see anyone else for my hair because she always perfects it! HIGHLY recommend!! The salon was beautiful and clean and everyone was very kind. Always on time and always providing a great experience! You definitely will not be disappointed if you decide to go here!

Love this Salon! I have been coming here for years and everyone is so nice, professional and accommodating. Cheryl is amazing and always does a fantastic job with my cut/color/highlight - no matter what I might request. Silva is the only person that I will let touch my eyebrows! She is so talented. Julie always greets me with a smile and is always super helpful when I need to schedule appointments.

Nicole S. is absolutely amazing! I have been seeing her for almost a year for highlights and tape in extensions. My hair has never been healthier or more beautiful. She took damaged, over bleached hair and managed to improve the integrity of my hair in under a year. She knows exactly how to achieve what I’m looking for each time. For those that have thick and curly hair, I would highly recommend Kara. She is a pro at cutting curly hair and I usually go for the Deva-cut. In addition, I also find Kara to be a kind and genuine person. She is sweet and very considerate, which I appreciate. Personally, I think Kara is the top stylist at this salon.

Nicole S. is truly amazing at her job and I love being able to sit in her chair. She gives you the desired look you want while maintaining the integrity of your hair. If you’re looking for someone who specializes in blond, hand tied/ taped/ iTip extensions- she is your gal. Even when Nicole is booked out for months, she stays on top of her Instagram page (@styledbystory) giving you knowledge on hair care, products, and notifies you about cancellations.

Nikki is absolutely amazing! I can not say enough good things about my experience at Hairmates Salon. She listened to everything I asked for and had awesome suggestions using her professional knowledge that helped take styling my hair to the next level. I had over 12inches cut, shaved sides and a beautiful shade of green added. Nikki is an incredibly kind and talented person. 100% will be back and would recommend to everyone!

I wish I could rate this salon more than 5 stars! I had an appointment for hair and makeup for my engagement photos session. I was looking forward to being pampered And getting photos taken with my finance
since COVID has not been to kind to us brides and grooms this year. Silva did my makeup and Kaleigh curled my hair. I felt like a million bucks! Unfortunately the photographer showed up to the session without her camera so it needed to be rescheduled. I re booked

I don't typically write reviews but I felt the need to shout out Hairmates for taking all necessary precautions for the fight against Covid. All stylists and clients are wearing masks. All stations are 6 feet apart or have partitions separating the areas, all areas are consistently being sanitized. I am OCD especially now with Covid and I can honestly say I feel 100% comfortable coming here to get my hair done.

I've been seeing Nikki B for a few years since she worked in Wakefield and now at Hairmates in Stoneham. Prior to becoming her repeat client, I was paying competitive prices for highlights and I was always stuck in the yellow stage. I don't know how Nikki does it, but she has brought me to a pale blonde, not yellowish, that I was always looking for.
Nikki is an expert in fantasy color, but she's exceeded my expectation in my blonde color.

I have been going to this salon for quite a few months now. I am so happy I found this salon. One, I am always greeted at the front desk so nicely! Every staff member there, has been nothing but nice and welcoming to me! Such a clean and beautiful salon. Lastly, Nicole, does my hair. She is so amazing!!! She always make me feel and treats me, like I have going to her for years, which I will be now. Every appointment, she makes me hair look and feel so amazing!

I've been to this salon on a few occasions and they've always just been average. However, it has been a quick place to go when I don't have time to make it to my regular salon for a haircut. I booked an appointment earlier this week for a 9:30AM men's cut this morning (Saturday) with Michael. After arriving five minutes early I was told he would be right with me. After waiting until 9:45 I heard the man at reception tell another worker that Michael hadn't yet arrived and he had a 9:30 appointment waiting. I would only come back to get a haircut from a senior stylist or the owner and even then, it would still feel like a risk.
My haircut came out nothing like the picture I showed the stylist. Luckily she got someone else to help.. but even then, the photo speaks for itself. It didn't look so bad at the salon but after getting home and looking closer, I wish I had them fix it to a different style. I can't even get it fixed by someone else because I don't want to lose anymore length.

Let me start by saying that I have major haircut anxiety. I have super curly hair and it's always been difficult to find someone who will cut it eights so it looks good both curly or straight. My friend recommended Hairmates and I couldn't be happier. I'm going to be 31 in two days and I've never loved my hair so much before. I went to Cheryl. She was outstanding.
