Lonestar Overhead Doors is a local, family owned and operated company founded by John Coker. John has worked in both the garage door and iron works industry for his entire adult life. He started out as a welding apprentice working for a custom iron fabrication company specializing in all types of wrought iron home furnishing, including light fixtures and gates, when he was just 16 years old.
There he gained great skills in welding fabrication and learned the necessity of paying attention to detail. John later relocated to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and began working as an installer for a well known Overhead Door company in Dallas where he spent several years learning the basic fundamentals of commercial and residential garage doors.
