Great Place to come enjoy some Tex- Mex food.
Every time I come to this location I get great customer service. If there is a wait I'm never waiting more and 20-30 minutes. I started off by ordering the Egg Rolls which were very flavorful. The cilantro cream sauce that it came with was a good combination. The poblano sauce and chicken enchiladas were delicious and the Shrimp/ Beef fajita quesadilla hit the spot. Of course they have great chips and salsa with a green salsa verde which has a nice flare to it.

NOOOOOOOOO!!
Tex mex craving lead to Gringos.
1. Location 5
2. Ambience 3
3. Food 0
4. Beer 1
5. Margarita 4
Great location - Place de paris, hustling bustling ambience, but ohh man what a disappointment food was. Simply no Mexican flavors, just blend, flavorless and not the to forget the burnt tacos, so the chef smartly scraped off the burnt part :))
Quesadillas were no better.
4.1 rating excited me but nothing more than sheer disappointment and burnt money, hence this single star to get a reality check for the community.
Sincere request to the restaurant management, you ought to do

Incompetent service. The plates came pretty late and once they came, we ordered two sauces for the fries but unfortunately, they came 20 minutes later!! And of course we had to pay for them: 0,95€ for a little late pot. It's glorious to mention the waiter came 3 times to ask us, which sauce did we order. For a restaurant that pretends to be USA/Mexican food based, i think the term "guacamole" should be familiar to all the waiters....
In the other hand, the food was pretty basic, nothing particularly in the taste of my hamburger. I think the waiters were unfamiliar to being at a restaurant service

We haven’t been to Gringos in a couple years because 1) there isn’t one near is and 2) the wait is usually long so we were really excited one opened up in Katy. We have tried to get there several times but… again the wait was so long. We FINALLY made it today. Wait wasn’t terrible, we signed in on line. Maybe 15 minutes. We are seated. Order taken. Approximately 40 minutes later our food was brought out. COLD. Aside from my Husband’s tamale, everything was barely rom temperature. So we send it back and at that point I just ask for mine know to go since I don&rsquo

I was soooo excited to come to Gringos haven't been in months and I haven't had fajitas in awhile and I was so excited to order the Veracruz plate which consist of chicken and steak fajitas, bacon wrapped shrimp with beans and rice. The fajitas weren't even sizzling and I told the waitress and staff and they disregarded my comment. You can even look at my picture and see there is no heat, steam nor fog coming from the plate so the plate wasn't even hot. Normally, the Veracruz is a huge plate with larger pieces of meat but I guess the restaurant trying to make their money back

Great experience for it to be my first time and we had a great waitress named Koren. I had a nice strong drink and food was awesome. Queso was great too! I'll definitely come back here and I like the social distancing rules they had.
You have to make your reservation online before you arrive. The tables are nicely spaced and I like that.
