Ralph Anderson founded the firm in 1953. For his entire career, he concentrated on residential design, both single and multifamily. He was one of the Pacific Northwest's leading residential designers. Mr. Anderson was also nationally recognized for initiating historic renovation and preservation in Seattle.
AKS has successfully completed a wide range of projects for both public and private agencies throughout the continental U.S., Alaska, and the Pacific Islands. The experienced personnel of AKS are recognized for their commitment of service and their design and planning capabilities.

AKS recently finished providing design services for a new 15,000 SF USFS Interagency/Supervisor's Office building at the existing BLM Roseburg District Office site. As a part of a Design-Build contract, AKS is providing design services for the reroof of Building 449 at Puget Sound Naval Station, Bremerton, WA.
