Dr. Parker has owned and operated Brown Animal Hospital since 2008. She is a 1988 graduate of the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine and licensed to practice by the South Carolina Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. She began practicing veterinary medicine with her late father, Dr. David L. Brown, Jr., at Brown Animal Hospital in 1988.
Preventative care is essential to your dog and cat. From nail trims to annual vaccinations, Brown Animal Hospital is ready to serve you and your pet with compassion. Brown Animal Hospital offers a comprehensive series of vaccinations for your dog or cat starting at 6 weeks of age for a puppy and 10 weeks for a kitten.
If your dog has an upset stomach, you can treat the dog with liquid Pepto-Bismol (or a generic alternative). Dose accordingly to the bottle's recommendations for a child's weight. To clean an open wound on your dog or cat, you can use 1 Part Bleach added to 10 Parts warm water. Avoid contact with eyes.

What a wonderful Veterinarian!!! My 80 year old Father was in the hospital after a horrible fall down the stairs and I had to take his cats to get check ups as well as shots before his move in with me. Dr. Brown was so understanding and gave excellent advice!!! I so wish she lived in my hometown!! I would recommend her to all pet Mommies and Daddies! Lake City has a great asset where she is concerned!!!!

Dr. Parker and Ms. Pearlie have served the Lake City community for many, many years and have been trusted veterinary care givers to my pets for 15 years. Dr. Parker has a wonderful bedside manner with her animal patients and is a wealth of knowledge in her field of medicine. She has taken care of my pets from the time they were 8 weeks old and well up into old age. In our many conversations during pet care visits, I've found Dr. Parker to be one of the kindest Christian medical care providers I've ever interacted with. I could not more highly recommend her veterinary services!
