A place to gather and embelish, A&G Restaurant was established by George Groumoutis over 40 years ago. A Greek immigrant, George and his brother, Tony, opened the first A&G Restaurant two years prior to George paving his path to Maryville. Their mission was simple, create an unforgettable experience for patrons by providing an array of exquisite meals with a side of robust and cheerful environment.

I went to A& G on a Tuesday night 12/28 when I was in town visiting family and had the worst experience. We were sat at 5:30pm and the restaurant was not busy. We sat there for 20 min with no waitress even stopping by our table. We had to go to the bar and get our own drinks. We went up to the host to ask if we had a waitress and he said he would go find them. Another 10 min still goes by with no service. We had to wait over 30 min before we were even brought water. We asked for the Manager and he apologized for the wait and said he would make us a priority and comp our next round of drinks. We

Stopped in on Dec 7, 2021 for all you can eat soup and salad. The baked potato soup, chicken and dumplings and lasagna is awesome and the Greek salad is delicious. One of the best parts was our waiter Brandon. He took great care of us and is just the most pleasant young man. Keep it up Brandon! You’re definitely an asset to this world😁

The menu is absolutely massive, I always get a different burger everytime I go here because they're delicious! Super busy on Fridays and Saturday but don't be fooled, you'll food will still come out on time with minimal wait. The prices aren't necessarily "college" friendly but I would still recommend coming here whenever I get the chance to pick where we eat!

It was a beautiful space and a great menu. We unfortunately didn't get any service or to eat. We were seated outside which we asked for by the distant dismissive hostess. We then waited out there on a dirty table for 15 minutes +
No one communicated with us if there was a long wait which I understand had it been communicated. Not a good experience. We traveled out of town to get my son into his dorm. Saw the reviews and menu and it was a great place online.

I have eaten here a few times and until today I have had good service, but today was not the case. If I could give them a negative rating, I would.We were here over an hour and did not get offered refills until we were given the check, I had to ask a different server for the cheese that I ordered to be on my tenderloin.

Wow what a fantastic and awesome place to eat one of my Favorites Now. Outstanding customer service by Demetri ,if you stop by make sure to ask for him. I stopped by on July 15 , 2020 .had the Plank Salmon with the Greek fries and a good and cold 32 oz. Italian Margarita .Friday 17 2020 I had the Lamb Chop dinner it is Amazing ,they are tender and juicy. Not to mention the dessert to die for only on Fridays. Also visited June 23 2020 had the Blacken Chicken darn good to.

The menu here is extensive, several pages. If you have a craving for something, A&G probably has it. I've had many different salads, stir fry, sandwiches, etc. I have also come for their all-you-can-eat lunch option of soup and salad. Soup options vary week to week. My favs are chicken chiIi and baked potato. It's a known Greek restaurant so the Greek salad is amazing. There are many other Greek options to try as well. I've also been here when there is live Greek music. My daughter often orders the cookie skillet for dessert (too many calories for me),

Not good- reviews must be false. Ordered dinner for four of us. Ordered medium rare steak and it came waaaay over done. I have never sent back a steak and didn't want to do it. Sadly, the waitress got a tongue lashing from the owner for allowing it. Then, she started to tell me things I have heard around town, that the guy is a total waitress abuser.

Initially felt pricey but my hamburger was humongous and grilled well; and, the onion strings were crispy with a tasty seasoning. A companion's club sandwich was also well crafted and had a large side of fries. No complaints.
Service was also very good.
And, the leather seating and ambient lighting make you feel you're somewhere special doing something special.

Arrived during the lunch rush and was seated within 7 minutes. Service was friendly and efficient. I chose the ribeye,salad and twice baked potato. The stake was flavorful and cooked perfectly as ordered. Twice baked potato was a nice upgrade. Looking forward to exploring the large menu and am curious of the Friday Greek offering.

This restaurant serves a large selection of food (salads, pasta, steak, etc), but we always end up getting Greek food. It's amazing! They have a nice cocktail menu and friendly servers. Recommend the flaming cheese! Fried pickles are ok, but they are spears and not chips. The baklava is always on point!

During two separate visits to NW Missouri, I have dined at AG. I highly recommend!
The menu is massive and has a choice to fit every appetite. Each time I have eaten at AG, it has been in a party of 5-6 and everyone leaves happy with their choice and serving sizes. I must admit that I long to try the desserts but no one has been hungry enough to even share a sweet.
On my visit last weekend I had the pecan crusted chicken salad w a cup of chicken and wild rice soup. It was all "smack your mama" good. I will definitely order again.
Service is prompt and courteous.

Went there for lunch today. It was a little busy but nothing out of the ordinary for a lunch hour. We were seated right away. They seated us in the North dining room. They had all you can eat soup, salad, and breadsticks. Everything was great except the waitress. She was full of excuses. Everything was slow. We were seated and it took awhile for her to come over and greet us. Took forever to get our salads. Then she brought our soup. It's all you can but we weren't able to take advantage of it as she never came back. By the time she did we had to leave. We had a 2 hour window for lunch
