The Pearson Street Preschool
When children pretend, they're using their imaginations to move beyond the bounds of reality. A stick can be a magic wand. A sock can be a puppet. A small child can be a superhero. Our school is a small, private preschool providing an exciting education to 20 students ages 2 years 9months to 5 years of age.

The Pearson Street Preschool believes in teaching children to love the act of learning. We utilize a curriculum based on children's interests and encourage them to use their imaginations. Our teachers are top-notch, and we pride ourselves in having a low teacher turnover rate.
Services
The Pearson Street Preschool provides a safe, welcoming, and nurturing preschool environment where children are comfortable and inspired to learn. Our classroom promotes educational learning, lays the foundation for your child to become independent and gives them the opportunity to be creative through play.
In 2011, I founded our sister school, The School for Early Excellence, in Burlington, MA. It has been such a fulfilling journey overseeing the growth, curriculum, and happiness of the students and teachers at both schools. Working with children has always been a dream of mine. My love of teaching quickly flourished while initially working at a preschool program in the Greater Boston Area.
We utilize a play-based, child-led curriculum that is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. We let nature, art and music be our guide as we introduce the children to new and exciting curriculum topics. Our Artist of the Month curriculum is an exciting way to introduce children to the many great artists of the world.
We understand that deciding upon a preschool for your child is very important, but can be a long process. The Pearson Street Preschool would like to make the process as painless as possible by describing the simple steps to enroll your child. The sooner you begin the enrollment process the more likely you will receive the schedule you want for your child as we function on a first come, first serve basis.
Research shows that attending a high quality preschool program has long-term benefits. In fact, preschool has been nicknamed the "Most Important Grade." Finding a high quality program that not only teaches children basic kindergarten readiness, but how to build warm relationships with their friends, is essential.
