Creative Learning Preschool is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) governed by a Board of Directors comprised of parents and community members. We are a play based preschool conveniently located just off the Capitol Square in Downtown Madison. We provide children with a warm, safe and nurturing environment and strive to meet each child's developmental needs.
Our curriculum follows the HighScope philosophy. This educational approach is based on Piaget's child development theories that stress the role of children as active learners. Our curriculum is child-directed, allowing teachers to plan and implement a classroom program that is designed around the needs and interests of the children.
Thank you for your interest in Creative Learning Preschool. We are always looking for dedicated individuals who feel passionate about the importance of a quality early childhood education to join our team. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in early childhood education and/or elementary education with experience working in a play based curriculum.
The CLP community empowers children by instilling a positive sense of self, empathy toward others and an appreciation for diversity. Our children are capable and confident learners who help guide their own learning experiences through their interests and by exploring the world around them. They challenge and inspire us each and every day.
We are currently enrolling children with birthdays from 9/2018 through 2/2019 as well as children eligible for 4K. We have limited part-time available for children that are currently 3 and will be 4 before September of 2022. As a MMSD site for 4K we are offering in-person 4K with wrap around care.
