I have been with Gunnar Olson State Farm Insurance for over 15 years, and honestly, I wouldn't even dream of shifting my business elsewhere. My experience with this office has been overwhelmingly positive and I would give them my highest recommendation with zero hesitation. For me personally, one of the important things is that they pick up the phone every time I call...and I sometimes call often. I have never even once heard their voicemail greeting! That is such a huge thing for me, and as our society continues to move further and further away from personal connection, I am always so impressed

Mr. Olson and his team are my first and only recommendation for insurance. Over the past 5+ years they have worked with me on life insurance, home and auto. If I had a boat or a husband I’d put them on my policy too.
Insurance isn’t the sexiest aspect of adulting but they make it easy, have been patient, informative, responsive and seamlessly get things done. My most recent agent Jessica Williams is nails, she gets it, is local and real person!

After a close encounter with are old insurance company we realized we need to work with a company that actually new what our policy’s covered. What we were paying for, and could explain it to us in detail. Rick V. Was awesome from start to finish. Came to our work. Had everything ready for us to sign. Was very very knowledgeable about are Auto, Business, and Life Insurance policy’s. I would highly recommend using State Farm and Rick V. If you are looking for any insurance needs or just want to double check what your working with.

Gunnar and his team are simply the best. I’m a college student on my own plan, when I was looking for an insurance company the quotes of how much I would have to pay per month was rediculous. Through state farms discounts I save LOTS per month, I even get money off my plan because of my good grades! I just locked myself out of my car and called, Barbara the secretary (SWEETEST WOMAN ever) asked me if I was in a safe place and then sent me an emergency roadside service to unlock my car. So happy with this company and their great customer service!!

I been a happy customer for nearly a year. I have my car, home, life insurance and my van's loan. I been treated with dignity and respect in every transaction.
I recently had the transmission blow out on my… van and I was stranded with my daughter. I called my agent Rick Valdez and gave me the calming news that I have towing as part of my insurance policy.
I didn't have my current insurance card to rent a car while the van was in the shop and I called the office and Barbara sent the proof of insurance immediately.
I was able to be back at work in no time. And no money out of my pocket. I

I should start off by saying that Gunner is not my State Farm Insurance agent, however that did not stop his team from helping me when I needed assistance with a State Farm related issue. My agent is located in another city and after moving to Portland I found myself having some trouble submitting some documents to the main State Farm Processing Center. After the first mishap I had back in 2014, the agent apologized several times and convinced me to stay with them as my agent. They sorted out my policy issue and we moved on.
In the spring of 2015 I purchased a condo, so I contacted Gunnar Olson to have my previous renter's policy cancelled and a new condo policy initiated. In summary, it's been almost a full year since I bought my condo and not once has Gunnar Olson had my condo policy accurate. First I was double billed for a renters and condo policy. I have been with Ken Rhoten state farm since 1993 ZERO PROBLEMS!! HE was awesome.. Since this clown took over I have had nothing but grief. INCLUDING them losing my auto payment information and then sending a cancellation letter for NON payment when I have had auto pay without a SINGLE late payment since 1993. Then they were constantly confusing my policy with my sons and harassing me for money he owed them. Then they cancelled my POLICY in error and for two weeks I had no insurance!! Gunnar Olson's office has always gone above and beyond for me. They're approachable and really know their stuff. Any time I've moved or purchased a car they've been efficient in getting me my insurance cards and new coverage. How they really stand out is helping plan for the future. Gunnar is great at breaking down how life insurance works, and helping me understand how I should be financially preparing for a family (and eventually retirement!) After sending in a payment to my agent's office and waiting a few days I noticed the money was still in the bank. So I called The Olson Agency and asked if they got the check. They had and then told me they had put the check through and it was NSF. I was looking at my acct. on my cell phone and the money was in my acct. I asked if they could put my check through again and the rep. told me they could NOT put the check through again. I asked if they could take a Debit payment, she said yes and took and processed
