Mountain High Coins started with a passion for history. Michael Graham, the original owner, was in the coin business from his early 20's. Collecting several items as a kid growing up in Los Angeles, Graham worked with precious metals and coins after college. Having visited Sisters several times, Graham moved the family to Central Oregon in 1984 and opened Mountain High Coins and Jewelry in Bend, with his Son-in-law Dave McGrew.
Settling on a busy area of Third Street, Mountain High Coin has survived even the toughest of times in our economy. Currently, the store is run by Graham's wife, Carolyn Graham and daughter Colleen McGrew. Since 1984, Mountain High Coin is the oldest family owned and operated numismatic business and the only licensed and certified numismatic company in Central Oregon.

At Mountain High Coins, the process of appraising such items follows several specific steps.
