At WholeSelf Acupuncture Scottsdale, we believe that good health involves the well-being of all aspects of one's self - the body, mind and spirit working in dynamic balance. In traditional Chinese medicine, when one or more parts of yourself is out of balance, the free flow of qi (vital energy) is impaired.
Imbalance results in disharmony or disease. Through the use of acupuncture and Chinese herbs, WholeSelf seeks to restore your body's natural balance, promote self-healing and prevent future disharmony. WholeSelf Acupuncture Scottsdale uses a natural, wholesome approach that treats you, not the disease, to optimize health.

Services
I consider the primary complaint, manifestations, underlying causes and other seemingly unrelated symptoms to develop an individualized treatment plan that treats the total you. I employ a medicine that is natural, safe and designed to work alone or in combination with Western medicine. My goal is to not just relieve symptoms and restore balance, but also to educate and assist you in maintaining your optimal whole self.
We are complex organisms, connected internally and to the outside world in ways we do not yet fully understand. Treating one part, one system or one aspect of ourselves does not consider the whole and how one affects the other. Western medicine tends to treat isolated symptoms, using drugs or interventions that solve one problem, often at the expense of another.
Acupuncture is among the oldest healing practices in the world. Very fine needles are inserted into acupuncture points to stimulate the body's natural healing process. Acupoints are small energy vortexes that are located along 14 systematic pathways (channels) where the qi (vital energy) travels. They can also be found at "ashi" (pronounced ah-shir) or tender areas, as well as at muscle trigger or motor points.

First time visiting with Linda. She is very professional and confident in her trade. Should get 10 star. Really makes you feel comfortable. A bit sore after treatment but she let’s you know. After 3 treatments. Great improvement on shoulder movements. Looking forward to seeing more results. Big thumbs up.

My experience with Linda was refreshing. She is a true professional and experienced practitioner. She asked pertinent questions to perform a very thorough assessment, which I appreciated. She really took her time in order to understand my issue and the root of it. I highly recommend Linda to anyone looking to an incorporate an alternative approach to their health.

Man, I have been struggling for over 5 years since I habe moved to Arizona with severe symptoms posing as valley fever, allergies, respiratory and other viral and bacterial infections. After visiting with over 15 Drs/Specialists over this time, in spending thousands and ending up still sick with no answers and no referrals; I was urged to contact Linda. In one session I was welcomed, heard and educated more today than with any of the other impersonal western medial benefactors. I truly feel not only valued and found relief in talking and having the acupuncture done, I feel concretely that Linda

I wholeheartedly recommend WholeSelf Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine! I have been going to Linda for over a year and a half, and what a difference it is making on me physically, mentally, and emotionally. Linda’s bedside manner is awesome as she takes the time to get to know her clients and takes detailed notes so that treatment is effective in as fewest visits as possible. Linda is an expert at her craft and really knows what she is doing! Not only does it give me relief from my Plantar Fasciitis, I have also seen improvement in my blood pressure, my stress level, and my quality of sleep

Having had acupuncture before, I am selective about the type of treatment and the practitioner's approach. Linda's work speaks for itself in that she truly does treat you as a whole. While a shoulder/neck injury got me in the door, I am happy to say I have seen improvements in multiple areas including physical, emotional, and energetic. Highly recommend making an appointment for yourself!

It was just happenstance, a little over a year and half ago when Linda answered my phone call in distress.
I was in dire straits. Looking for an answer to cure the ongoing chronic pain in my hands caused by a lifestyle of bartending, stress and overuse. I was 26. Why was I having piercing pain that I could not get rid of? I had visited a chiropractor several times, urgent care, and yet my hands remained in piercing pain.
I had never had an acupuncture treatment, but I thought something like it could have value.
I googled "acupuncture" locally, saw Linda's practice and within days was in her

I was a bit hesitant to try acupuncture, but Linda immediately put me at ease. She is gentle and explains things every step of the way, always making sure I am comfortable. Not only have my initial sinus symptoms improved, but I leave her office feeling relaxed and better overall. Linda and her treatments are a fantastic find!
