We offer 3 tuition options: 2, 3 or 5 days a week from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM OR 8:00 AM to 6:00PM if you need extended care. ABS offers an optional Summer camp Program July through mid-August. Au Beau Sejour Preschool provides a challenging education inspired by the Education National curriculum in France.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard at ABS, our happy and exciting 2 preschools located both in Oakland! Your child's time spent at ABS is supremely important to all of us. Years of practical experience have shown us that the best results occur when we work closely with you to establish rapport and common goals for your child in the year ahead.
I am the proud owner of Au Beau Sejour Preschool. I grew up in France and am fluent in French, Spanish and English. I obtained a degree in DEUG Sciences Humaines et Sociales and a "Licence Sciences de L'education" at the Universite Lille in France where I received my BA in Education. During this time, I also worked with preschool and school age children as a teaching assistant "Educatrice".
As an Immersion School we embrace the French approach, and add the whole child approach. The French Education system is a learning which emphasizes the mastery of academic concepts through problem solving within the framework of art, craft, drama, music, and manipulation of numerals, shapes, patterns, and measurement.
Our entire Teachers and Staff are working hard to ensure that our school year begins smoothly, and with great enthusiasm! Our hope and goal is that our students are smiling as they enter their school. We interpret our students' joys as a sign of comfort, and their belonging to our Preschool community.
We have created a teaching plan and developed an outline for our yearly curriculum. Planning ahead ensures that we are meeting the educational standards and common core curriculum initiatives. In order to recognize and address the needs and development of their children, Parents are invited to read this document to promote greater partnerships with the school as well as the teachers.
