Mi Mundo Preschool is an art school taught in Spanish for children as young as two and half to five year olds. Our curriculum emphasizes in culture, geography, family, science and play! We strongly believe preschool is the best time to spark creative energy and positive interests in children's introduction to schooling.
Understanding that children learn best by their play, our curriculum is based on children's interest. We provide hands-on classrooms where they can express and simultaneously develop their cognitive, social and motor skills. And it is throughout this journey that they set free the wings of creativity and they discover their magical "mundo" (world)!

Services
Mi Mundo Preschool honors and embraces the world's diversity. We believe that exposing children to different cultures enriches their first schooling experience as well as it teaches then empathy and acceptance. Our main approach is presenting children with interesting themes based on nature, science, history, places of the world and its celebrations.
Mi Mundo in Berkeley is a school for 29 children from two and half years of age to five. We are currently full for next school year 2018-2019. Annually, we have space for 10-12 new families. The more flexible that is your schedule the easiest that it is to get into the program. We have a few requirements for new children.
We are currently full for the school year 21-22. If you are still interested in our preschool for the following school year 22-23, you may schedule a tour. We apologize we cannot accommodate tours earlier in the year and at another times. To schedule a tour, you may call us at 510-652-1172 or email us at mimundopreschool@gmail.com.
You may reserve a tour by contacting us via email at mimundopreschool@gmail.com or calling us at 510-230-4738. We will try to host in person tours (if possible). These will be on the following Fridays from 9:15-10:15. We can only host a small group per date, so please schedule yours ahead of time. If tours are not possible in person, we will schedule them via zoom.

My daughter started at Mi Mundo in January 2014, and we've been thrilled with it! We've tried a couple of other preschools and none hold a candle to this place.
What drew us there was the combination of a bilingual school with a strong focus on creative activities and making things. But what has really made the experience so positive has been the thought and energy that the teachers put into everything.
