In 1955, Newman Funeral Home was established with the purchase of the Winterberg Funeral Home, on Main Street in Grantsville, MD. From 1955 to 1979, the Grantsville facility went through several renovations. In 1995, construction of the present location at 179 Miller Street in Grantsville was completed.
This staff and owners at Newman are top notch. When losing a family member, such as a parent, they show compassion and understanding. During the pandemic that we are currently experiencing everything is out of the ordinary. Newmans was still able to provide our family with the best service and make us comfortable.
