Wedding videography to us is just as important as photography. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video must be worth a million because it encompasses a combination of both audio and visual elements. When we met with the Lightbulb team, we were nervous because we were really picky about what we want. A friend had referred them to us and after watching some of their videos we settled on them. Great videos and a referral, what could go wrong, right?
Wrong. After I had put my deposit down, I found out that Sonny (the creative mind) had left leaving David in charge.
Most videographers ask what you are looking for in your video, what moments you'd like them to capture, etc. When I inquired about that, David advised they do not have a questionnaire for us to fill out, but I could send it along.
On the day of our wedding he arrived at our hotel with an additional shooter, which he did not

I hate giving bad reviews but let me explain why the 1 star. I've seen Lightbulb's amazing work and when my now-husband and I were talking about who to go with for our wedding video, I knew it had to be them. They were out of our price range but I begged my husband to go with them because I've watched all their videos and I loved every one of them. Plus, I've met Sonny through mutual friends and he seems like a pretty easy guy to work with. Our wedding was on 7/11/15 and we signed our contract on 3/25/2014. This is a very long overdue review for Sonny and his team. I was referred to them by my cousin (who highly recommended him after her friend used him for her wedding videography) and after viewing some of their wedding videos in their portfolio, we knew we wanted Sonny to document our special day. I came across Lightbulb from friends that have hired them for weddings. My company had a product launch and they wanted someone externally to record the big day since we didn't have the bandwidth to do so ourselves.
My company loved how personable yet professional they were. They never got in the way of our guests and in two weeks, we had an amazing video that not only reminded us of the fun we had that night but also made everyone so proud of all the hard work we put into making our company a success.

I was recommended Lightbulb by a friend as I was impressed with their portfolio and their same day edits online. It was certainly a pleasure working with Lightbulb and the team as they were very professional and accommodating on filming and shooting my engagement. Lightbulb defines what several different videography studios lack as Light Bulb is professional with their quick turnaround time as well as customer service. For any occasion such as Wedding, Engagement or even Corporate I would highly recommend Lightbulb as I would use them once again for my Wedding next year.

The Lightbulb team filmed and produced a video for a corporate event I was working at before in san francisco. I met one of the guys filming. I was able to see some of the shots that they showed me on the spot and was impressed by them. I got their contact after and stayed in touch. They showed me the video after in just about two weeks and was blown away by what they edited and put together. Lightbulb is definitely lighting things up for the bay area and I look forward in working with them again. Kudos!

Team Lightbulb is an absolute pleasure to work with! They are simply the best at what they do. I been following them for years and love everything about them, from their amazing videos to their professionalism. I am also in the wedding industry myself and the chance of working with them in several gigs. Weddings are usually very stressful, however you will never see them stressed. Lightbulb = AMAZING!
A few weeks back, I attended a wedding for one of my close friends and was able to see the Lightbulb team at work. My main focus was, of course, on the bride and groom. I couldn't help but notice how amazing the Lightbulb team was! They were extremely friendly, professional, and so conscious of the guests. They have definitely mastered the art of working weddings- they were able to catch priceless moments of the wedding without compromising the intimate ambiance the bride and groom had set.
What topped it off was when everyone was seated for dinner- the lights dimmed

We just had the Lightbulb team shoot our wedding on Sept 14, 2013. Our wedding was not the typical wedding: began at 8:30 AM (filming started at 8 AM) and ended at 2 AM. Did I mention it was a 1100 person wedding!? Our wedding schedule was:

My husband and I hired Lightbulb for our wedding day this past labor day weekend and are so happy with the same day edit video they have produced for us. Back when we started planning the wedding, we had no interest in hiring videographers. Then, we came across Lightbulb's work on a different wedding and knew that we absolutely needed to hire a videographer. We spoke with several Bay Area vendors, and watched many many wedding videos. Lightbulb truly has the magic touch. There were some technical issues at the banquet location, but it was obvious that Sonny and David really tried to make it
