After over 30 years of enduring knee pain because I was convince replacing the knee would be worse than what I was dealing with, I went to see Dr. Wendy Wong. I have grandchildren and need to be able to keep up with them. Dr. Wong performed a complete knee replacement and everything went exactly as she'd said......the first 6 weeks were horrible due to pain (although to be fair she did ensure I had adequate pain medications) but after that it just got better and better. I'm fully functional, can hike and even run after my grandkids and I must say what I value most is Dr. Wong's patience during

I came here and every thing was very quick.
I made an appointment and got seen all within the same day.
I actually saw the doctor about 5-10 minutes after my appointment time, which is awesome.
However, the bad part of my experience is as follows.
After the doctor saw me and diagnosed me, he decided i needed a brace and didn't consult with me at all about it.
He told his assistant, "go get him a splint and we will bill his insurer".
This made me assume that i was getting a brace at no cost to me, so i didn't bother asking any questions.
They ended up giving me a brace that cost a total of

These guys are ok, but they are not the A team either. There are some good people, but overall there are problems. It was my first broken arm in 68 years, so at the start I didn't know much or what to expext. When I got a second opinion at Cal Sports Orth it put a lot into perspective. The medical care was ok, but the immobolizer I was switch to was too short as it only came to the top of the break. The first immobilizer caused major skin problems, with bleeding and a green discharge after 9 days. The doctor was OK but I didn't feel that got a complete understanding of the situation and options

Friendly staff, helpful and caring. Professional environment. Clean. Painful osteoarthritis led me to see Dr John Knight 22 years ago. The hip that he replaced in 1999 is still functioning. Skillful surgeon - the best in my opinion! He is retiring at the end of the year but he assures me that the team that is in place are as skillful as he is. I hope they also have his kind heart and caring manners. Based on my experience I would highly recommend the Muir Orthopedic Specialist if you are in need of an specialists. May you healed!

My clinical care with Dr. Tischenko has been consistently excellent. While the administrative support is generally good, the occasional glitches — Rxs sent to the wrong pharmacy, appointments rescheduled by Muir — have been time-consuming to resolve because calls go right to a long queue or auto return calling, which puts the call at THEIR convenience rather than the patient’s. When that’s fixed, I’ll be happy to give a 5-star rating!

I feel like I really lucked out. I didn't do any research on my own I was just guided to Muir Orthopedic Specialists and ended up getting one of the best hip replacement surgeons in the world. I want to thank him as well as others on his team like Christine, Thelma, Erica and Adriana!
I feel like I drove in there with a beat up old used car, and ended up driving away in a brand new titanium Humvee. Thanks everyone.

The doctors and staff are wonderful. Dr. Night did a full knee replacement in Nov and husband had full shoulder replacement and we are more than satisfied with the results. In 2015 I had a partial knee replacement by Dr Tshenko on my other leg who is also at Muir and that alleviated my great pain. Also I did rehab recently for my knee and it was wonderful to have the same Pt therapist. I have gone to several places for therapy and Muir was better hands now. I would highly recommend Muir Orthopedic to anyone. You can trust them for whatever your needs are. (:

Had to visit Muir Orthopedic Specialist in Walnut Creek yesterday and while I absolutely hate going to the doctor this was a flawless experience.
Was in and out in roughly an hour. This included checking in, vitals, seeing the Dr, getting X-rays, reviewing X-rays, getting a split, and scheduling a follow up appointment.
While I hope I never have to visit M.O.S. again, should an injury ever happen again I’d mossy back to Walnut Creek with no complaints at all.
Keep up the great work y’all!!
