Assistance in Healthcare Midwestern is a charitable organization which was founded in 1983 to assist patients who are receiving cancer care in Zion, IL. AIH supports patients and their families who have become financially distressed with non-medical expenses. In 2008, Assistance in Healthcare Western was established as a not-for-profit volunteer organization based in Goodyear, AZ.

Their mission is to assist cancer patients and their families with non-medical expenses when the cost of prolonged medical care creates financial hardship. Assistance in Healthcare Southeastern is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, charitable organization that opened in 2012 and is dedicated to helping cancer patients who are undergoing treatment in the Newnan and greater Atlanta area, and their families, by lessening the financial burden of cancer.
Services
Assistance in Healthcare, Inc. was established in 1983 by a group of volunteers in Zion, IL as a non-profit solely for the purpose of raising funds to support cancer patients and their families. For over 30 years we have provided financial support to patients undergoing active cancer treatment. We provide assistance for non-medical expenses.
Thank you for your interest in supporting Assistance in Healthcare. Assistance in Healthcare provides financial support for non-medical expenses. Funds can be granted for rent, utilities, car payments and various other daily living expenses. With your generous support, we will be able to achieve our goal in bringing hope, dignity and relief to cancer patients and their families.
The majority of our organization is comprised of volunteers who donate their time to respond to your inquiries. Please be patient as we receive and review your request and we will respond as quickly as we can. Please provide an e-mail address or telephone number if you would like a response to your message.
We provide assistance with non-medical costs such as: groceries, rent, utilities, food, childcare, transportation, hotel etc. Because of the high volume of requests, patient grants may be limited over a twelve-month period. This may vary by site. At this time we are only able to provide assistance to those undergoing active cancer treatment.
