In DPC, your membership gives you direct access to a physician who knows you. Working together to optimize your design and treating today's concerns today. Together we focus on building a healthy foundation and enabling you to be an engaged participant in your health. In direct primary care, instead of paying for each visit or procedure, you pay a simple and affordable membership fee.
HSKC is an innovative way to receive high quality primary care, but we do believe insurance is needed for unexpected and expensive events. Similar to how your auto insurance does not cover the important routine maintenance of your vehicle, but is there for when bad things happen. The membership fee offers a simple way to provide the vast majority of your health care needs with an affordable and known cost.
As we navigate our days - our responsibilities, circumstances and the normal chaos of life - the balance is shaped more by the external than the internal. Our health and wellness slide down the priority list and we run far short of optimal. Most of us face the consequences of these choices when we have to react to a health issue.
A one-time, non-refundable $80 enrollment fee will be charged to each new billing account - whether individual(s) or family plan. ALL members must enroll for Auto-Pay of invoices with a Credit or pin-less Debit Card. Due to our low staff and low overhead business model we cannot invoice or bill membership or other fees.

Just joined and had my first appointment this week. I was impressed with everything from the moment I walked in until I walked out with meds and an action plan for getting a handle on my health. I can safely say that the personal attention and service are virtually unheard of in the American medical system. If I could "Spinal Tap" this review and give 6 Stars, I would do it in a heartbeat. Top marks for Dr. Heybrook. Top marks for Kristen. And top marks for the innovative spproach to medicince and wellness that is the hallmark of Health Studio KC.
