As a mortgage brokerage, we see a variety of different issues, conditions, company standards, and processes with each lender/bank that we partner with. And, not all files are created equal, as some require more effort and diligence on behalf of both parties to accomplish the final goal of funded financing. Wouldn't recommend this company out of Tulsa Oklahoma to anyone. The communication is horrible, they act clueless, an will put words out there that was never said. I have every email that will show you what I mean.

I had a wonderful experience with Open Mortgage. Another mortgage company in the Dallas Ft. Worth area Sunwest Mortgage asked us for a 750 credit score or better. I was like what that is hard now days. Crystal Whitten with Open Mortgage approved us fast. They made it so easy and not that much pressure at all. Unlike other closings that drag and take forever we were done in about three weeks. The only pressure was the seller. Crystal was excellent with fast communication and very sweet and professional. Unfortunately I am having issues with moving a file out of underwriting in a timely manner. Was told it went to underwriting last Thursday for a closing on the following Wed. Was told on Monday we were simply waiting on the file to come out of underwriting and should still make close on Wed. We've already requested a RUSH and are looking at yet a… third request to extend the contract. My clients are now at the point where they have no faith or trust in what is happening. If there is someone out there who can help move our file into CTC status it would be greatly appreciated.

It's a franchise that people can buy into "thier broker was nothing better than a paper pusher!
We lost tons of money on stuff not to mention a ding on our credit!

Stay far, far away from this "lender." One star is too much. Their senior loan officer wrote a pre-approval for buyers who didn't have the cash for the earnest money, let alone down payment. Thankfully, they didn't place an offer on a house because they would have lost their option money, inspection money, and possibly appraisal fee. After consulting with a real lender, they discovered they won't qualify to buy a home for at least 2 more years. If you're a buyer, run from this "lender."
