There's a reason the saying "you are what you eat" has been always been around. The typical American diet is nothing but an energy drain that puts your body at risk for devastating-and potentially fatal-diseases. But eating the correct balance of the right foods will enhance your health and wellness, keep you feeling satisfied and help you attain your target weight.

I can develop a customized nutrition plan that fits into your lifestyle, and then continue to work with you one-on-one to reach your health, weight loss or sports training goals.

Trust your child's appetite - Forcing a child to clean a plate can lead to less healthful eating over time. Plan for snacks - Young children need healthy snacks to get enough nutrients and energy for growth. Offer one new food at a time - Kids may need to try a food 5-10 times before learning to like it.
I am offering this service because I feel that you need to understand the importance of knowing your metabolic blueprint. Charts and apps only go by height and weight. Metabolic Testing has been around many years, however, the devices available were uncomfortable and not easy for the participant. Fortunately that has changed with the device I've chosen to use.
Standing 5' 5 but weighing just under 200 lbs., I felt horrible. My A1C was measured at 6.9. Having recently relocated to the Jersey Shore as a full-time resident, I had no knowledge of healthcare professionals in the area since all my doctors are in Philadelphia. By chance, I came across an article written by Nancy Adler in our local newspaper that described the harm sugars do to one's body.
Pulse several times to break into smaller pieces, then turn on and run for about five minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides of the bowl. Transfer to a bowl and place in a freezer for about 15 minutes, if you'd like, or serve immediately. Cook over a medium heat until nicely brown, breaking up into bits with spatula as it cooks.
