Summit Kids Academy's responsibility is to meet the well being of every child in our program, now and in the future. We shall provide the best, safest, most nurturing and healthiest learning environment where children can play, learn and grow. Continually provide the most developmentally appropriate educational tools and methods to meet tomorrow's standards.
Accreditation means that the Apple has certified that Summit Kids Academy meets a higher, national standard for quality care and education that required by regulation. Few programs achieve this distinction. Their mission is to encourage quality and recognize excellence in delivering high quality childcare.
We use a classroom management program called Conscious Discipline. It is based on current brain research, child development information and developmentally appropriate practices. Yes, but all medication (even over the counter) must be accompanied by a Doctor's Authorization. Once your child is enrolled with us, you choose a security access code for the front door.
We offer classes from infant through toddlers, preschool all the way to pre kindergarten and after school programs for school aged children. Babies less than 1 year old have their own space as so 1 year olds. For preschool children aged 2 and 3 years old, we establish classes based not only on chronological age, but also on developmental milestones.
Everyone washes their hands on entry to the school, and numerous times during the day. Teaching your children how to wash their hands effectively is one of the best defenses against spreading germs. Our state of the art Zono Sanitation System promises increased health and safety in our childcare center.

This is the worst experience I have had with a "school." First of all, they have no curriculum, they do not learn anything. They spend the day playing outside and do not even make sure the little kids are adequately hydrated. All the teachers there walk around like they have a chip on their shoulder, it's like they don't even like the kids. My kids would come home saying they yelled at them at school. They are SUPER disorganized and you can ask any mom of a student, it is something we just dealt with praying the year would end quickly. They leave you in the dark about everything

This place is awful please save yourself the trouble of taking your kid there. The Owner Sam Grant decided to change Directors at the beginning of this year 2015 and named the Assistant Director Fran Shellard the new Director. Biggest mistake ever! seems like everything started going downhill from there first of all, Fran is not a friendly person at all or someone who greets you or your child when you walk in the door each day, or someone you can talk to or work with if you have any concerns regarding your child. She seems miserable to be there every day besides being a very rude and uncaring
