At Concord Preschool and Childcare, we offer learning programs for children from the age of 1 to Kindergarten. Our main goal is to provide your child with the best education possible. Concord Preschool and Childcare is committed to providing a safe, fun and nurturing atmosphere. Your child will be encouraged to play, learn, and experiment. Concord Preschool and Childcare has been providing excellent early childhood education and childcare services since 1956. We have qualified teachers with up to 30 years of experience.
Services
Concord Preschool and Childcare creates an environment in which each child is free to play, learn, experiment and grow at his or her own rate. Appropriate behavior is encouraged and developed through daily skills led by qualified and caring teachers. All children will attend gym and music classes and we have Chapel once a month.
A payment of $95.00 must accompany the registration form. The registration fee is non-refundable. The registration fee is per child, not per family. We do have summer camp available to children ages 1year - 9 years old. The Summer Camp is available June - August. Please note that your child must be age appropriate according to the State of Delaware Policy.
Concord Preschool and Childcare offers several quality learning programs for children ages 1 through Kindergarten. We believe that education taught in small focused groups will give any child the head start needed to succeed in life. From a very young age, our 1 and 2 year old toddlers are encouraged to develop hand-eye coordination, motor skills, as well as social skills and they learn how to interact with others.
The emphasis of our One-Year-Old curriculum is to enhance the social-emotional, physical and language development of your child. We will also concentrate on sensory awareness and discovering the world around them. Our focus is on positive interactions with your child and how our teachers foster the children's development with their words, actions and gestures.
Concord Preschool and Childcare is committed to supporting early childhood development in a nurturing and loving environment. Our 3 year old curriculum is designed to enhance the social-emotional, language-literacy, mathematics, science, and physical development of your child.

One of my kids went to Concord for two years and my younger one is still there and we have no plans of leaving. The teachers my kids have had go above and beyond to make them feel cared for and important. My older daughter got into the gifted program with Brandywine School District after leaving Concord and the person that did the evaluation said many Concord students got in. It's not a coincidence. They are really learning on top of lots of fun.

My son went there for child care and preschool and I was very happy with the whole experience. The staff is very warm and friendly and did an excellent job teaching both academic and social skillls. Would have sent him there for Kindergarten if he did not get into the charter school we had in mind. Highly recommended!
