Colonial Funeral Home
Colonial Funeral Home has built in a short time a reputation of commitment to each and every family we serve. At a time which is most difficult for a family, we strive to provide the absolute highest level of care. Our philosophy can simply be described by our slogan "Our Family Serving Your Family" with honor, trust, and integrity.

The Mullins family have served the funeral industry for over 28 years with a combined 56 years of experience between Mike and Eva Mullins. We feel as though serving bereaved families is much more than a service, it is a ministry. That is why each and every member of our staff is committed to providing the highest standards in quality, caring and thoughtful service to every family we serve, whether it is before or after death occurs.
Services
Our mission is to serve the families of our community and surrounding communities with the utmost honor and integrity and to care for their loved ones as if they were our own. We promise to provide a meaningful service that will commemorate the precious life that has been lived, as well as a declaration that a life has ended.
Mike Mulins was born in Amarillo, Texas graduating from Tascosa High School in 1986. Mike attended Amarillo College before moving to Dallas, Texas to attend the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service where he graduated in 1991. Mike has held various positions within the funeral profession in his 30 years as a licensed funeral director.
Most of us are not prepared to plan and carry out a funeral ceremony for someone we love. And so much of the information available on this critically important subject fails to focus on what is most important: having a personalized, meaningful funeral that helps families and friends begin the healing process of mourning after the death of someone we love.
When arranging a funeral service, it is well to consider the feelings of others who shared in or benefited from the life of the deceased. A funeral service is a unique event in the life of a family. It is a ceremony of proven worth and value for those who mourn. No two people are exactly alike; therefore no two services should be alike.
Prearrangement is planning today for funeral, cremation and cemetery needs. It is sitting down with your family to make those important decisions together, rather than alone, at the time of need. It lessens the burden at the time when decisions about caskets, flowers and how much to spend are to much to bear for your family when you are gone.
