I ordered thru Grubhub delivered as promised and food was hot. This has been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. But this time wasn't their finest
I ordered the pupus for 2. The ribs were so good as well as some skewers with meat and green peppers. The fried items egg roll, chicken wings were not appetizing at all very greasy and overcooked. The fried wontons were just ok tiny piece of meat and the crab Rangoon had no flavor at all. I also ordered king bo chicken with pork fried rice. The chicken and vegetables were good as usual. The fried rice didn't have any pork

First time visit to this restaurant. The wife and I were hungry for Chinese food and we had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant. We arrived and after a short wait, we were seated. The staff is friendly and seems to know all the regular customers by name. Our waiter arrived and we ordered our dinners. After a reasonable time, my hot and sour soup and egg roll arrived. The soup was devoid of any kind of flavor and no spice. The egg roll was okay, but the hot mustard sauce on the table was absolutely tremendous! The wife had ordered crab Rangoon and it arrived rather late and

Honestly one of the best places to get old school Chinese dinners. My family and I have been eating here for more than 50 years. I remember eating here as a small child and now I bring my daughter to eat here. All throughout the pandemic they were open for takeout that I think we had 2 times a week. The food is always delicious and our families favorite.

This was one of a few places open on Christmas day. Call early if you don't want to wait hours for your food! This is a long-time family run restaurant. I ordered General Tso's chicken, medium, and it was actually spicy! Too often American-Chinese dishes like this are just sweet, and this one had a good kick. It was easily enough for two meals too. I will definitely keep Zom Hee in mind for future trips to St Pete/Clearwater!

Good old fashioned Chinese restaurant that you remember from being a kid in the 70's. Everything being red, lanterns hanging from the ceiling, order by number and the best service by a family owned business that really cares that you came in. Everything we had was excellent. These types of restaurants used to be everywhere but now all you can find is take-out or delivery. There is something nostalgic about going to dinner with family or friends and enjoying a good meal without everyone looking at their phones. The only thing missing for me was the looping Chinese music playing in the background

We have always enjoyed eating here. Ken & his crew do a great job. The food is delicious. Last time, something was missing from our order, and they quickly made it right. Know in advance that this is a popular place, so there was a line, though it moved quickly. We had ordered take out in advance, so it was waiting for us on time.

I'm so confused about this place. Was recommended to me and the reviews are amazing. However our food was not good at all. First there was an overload of soy sauce or seasoning or something which made the food almost black. Refer to my pics. There was a overpowered smokey taste to all the dishes. I was so disappointed in the food as I was looking forward to finally some enjoyable Chinese food! Was this just a bad day for the cook? Maybe my to go food which totalled over $60 was a mistake that they tried to pass off? Because it's really hard for me to believe this was how my order was

This place is great. I just moved to the area, figured it was a standard Chinese spot. The feel when you walk in is this place has been a neighborhood staple for a long time. I say that because I'm 38 and I think I was the youngest person in this place by about two decades.
Everything in here is your run of the mill Chinese food you'd take-out, but a lot better. Imagine if Cracker Barrel and Pei Wei got pregnant and birthed a Chinese food restaurant. It would probably be this place.
You're met with hot tea and next level spicy mustard/duck sauce. Staff is friendly, prices are

First time going to Zom Hee and let me say...we were impressed. Ordered take out and was pleased with the carrying box provided as this made transportation quite easy. We ordered the egg-drop wonton soup and the crab rangoon and the crab rangoon was very good 9/10 the wonton soup was also good I'd give it a 8/10. We got the sesame chicken and the chicken lo mein as the main and let me just say there wasn't much left. 9/10 for both dishes. This isn't your run of the mill Chinese place, while Zom Hee does have the classic one stop shop Chinese dishes there's a sort of pizzaz to

We drove from Tampa last evening to try this restaurant. The server Yoko was a delight.
We all felt that the Won Ton Soup had little if any taste. The Egg Rolls were very good.
The other dishes that we ordered tasted fine although they had more ingredients than we were used to.
The restaurant reminded me of some that I ate at years ago in New York Cities China Town.
Finding good Chinese food in the Tampa Bay Area in recent years has become rather difficult.
We will be back.

The minute you get out of your car in the parking lot you can smell delicious food. I placed a to-go order, so I'm unable to comment on the sit-down dining experience. Rookie mistake - I've never had roast pork buns, so I ordered 4 for myself. Turns out each one is the size of a hamburger bun, so I'll definitely be having leftovers. If you're like me and not familiar with them, they are good-sized and taste like warm yeast rolls filled with marinated pork and cooked onion. I also ordered chicken fried rice - everything was cooked perfectly (occasionally I've had burnt rice

This is a straight up old-school sit down Chinese restaurant. The Nostalgia really takes you back. It’s like I was walking into a Chinese restaurant when I was a kid with my parents. The food was amazing the flavor was amazing. Definitely a hidden gem if anybody has not seen this place or gone there. Sit down Chinese restaurants still exist and this one is right there up on the list of places you need to go.

This Chinese restaurant set the bar for all Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area. The food was phenomenal. We had a pick up order and we waited inside the bar lounge and me and my wife got a few drinks. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the drinks were amazing for the price. I've been meaning to try this place for years and it finally happened but I'm just sad it took me this long to try. They have been in business for +30 years and it makes sense when you try their food and meet their staff. 10/10 would recommend!

Due to all the rave reviews I've read, we got take out from here last night. One pint of sweet and sour chicken and a pork lo mein combination plate. It was good, but nothing exceptional and certainly not better (actually not as good) than we get from the take out Chinese restaurant near us so I'm wondering why it gets so many rave reviews.
The sweet and sour chicken is different from anywhere else I've had it, including NYC. Instead of individual pieces of battered chicken it's one chicken breast that's battered/breaded and cut into slices. The chicken was very juicy

First time trying and here is my take . The service is outstanding. The sweet and sour chicken was different but very good . The rice and egg roll I didn't care for . Rice was a brown rice with no meat, egg or onion . The egg roll seemed to have a triple rap and the cabbage was way over cooked . . Again I respect they do things their way it's just something I'm not used to and prefer NY version Chinese.
Service was great !
