Harlem Center For Nursing & Rehabilitation
Harlem Center is proud to find its strength in the very neighborhood we serve. Our motto of Harlem Strong applies not only to our patients and residents but to our staff and the surrounding community as well. The goal of Harlem Center is to treat, heal, and empower those that walk through our doors and get them back into the community stronger than ever.

Take a walk along our tree-lined street and you will see a sense of community that is unique to the neighborhood we call home. Whether it be through our Spring Planting Program with local youth groups, frequent fundraising and sponsorship initiatives with our nearby clergy, or opening our doors to local community organizations for chapter meetings, Harlem Center's commitment to our community runs deep.
Services
Harlem Center's short-term rehabilitation is carried out in our Advanced Recovery Center, which combines cutting-edge technology with physician-led individualized recovery plans that allow you to get better faster - all while honoring your personal values.

Our continuity of care - from the hospital, to our Advanced Recovery Center, to home - ensures that you'll get the specific treatment - as well as the five-star amenities - to help you recover quickly so you can return to doing the things you love. What sets Harlem Center apart from other rehabilitation centers is our focus on providing the right equipment to deliver maximum results.
For those who need daily medical care and are seeking a sophisticated, comfortable and safe place to age well, Harlem Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation provides the best of all worlds. We've created a feeling of family, where residents socialize in an atmosphere of upscale luxury while receiving care that is on the leading edge of technology.
In addition to state-of-the-art rehabilitative care, Harlem Center offers comprehensive nursing care provided by licensed/certified therapists and medical personnel to help bridge the transition from hospital to home. We treat and manage a variety of clinically complex medical conditions, including surgical procedures, injuries, illnesses, and diseases.
One of the biggest advantages of working with The Allure Group is having access to the very latest in health technology. Robotic devices and therapies have shown great promise in their ability to help patients recover and rehabilitate from surgery, injury or other medical events, such as a heart attack or stroke.
Originally developed with NYU Langone's Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation, Harlem Center's groundbreaking Hearts in Motion program employs on-site cardiologists who administer the highest quality of care tailored to patients with cardiac conditions, including congestive heart failure, heart attack, heart surgery, and stent placement, among others.

The staff steals from patients. The social worker is a thug. Positive reviews must be from people who don’t go for visits much. If your loved is dying they will not take them to a hospital be warned ! They don’t want to pay.

I visited my Mother for the first time since the start of the pandemic. She is doing well. The staff are all very kind to her. I appreciate their compassion and commitment. The sign in procedure is a bit lengthy but that’s understandable! Keep up the good work!

Meeting with my mother was the high point of my visit but for me too short, I understand the time limitation and I'm grateful that I was able to visit. In addition to visiting with my mother I was able to meet with some of the staff and get answers to some questions I had. Facility was Spic and Span clean. Thanks for the opportunity for the visit.

Update: i just found out my mother was being abused and treated her horribly. She's very traumatized. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONE HERE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. I WILL BE REPORTING THIS FACILITY FOR NEGLECT AND ABUSE!!!.
Please do not go to this location. My mom has been there for a few days and she calls me crying everyday saying that they are not treating her well. She says they treat her like an animal. She also mentioned when she asked a nurse for help the other day because she had issues using the restroom and the nurse tokd her what do you want me to do.i had to calk the hospital myself

If I could give 0 stars I would. My mom was here from Thursday - Sunday and every day I had to call and speak to someone because the nurses were not taking care of her. More than 1 hour wait when there is a emergency. Told nothing can be done when she had to use the bathroom or being told her nurse is on break and she has to wait even tho she's bleeding. Cold food or food that stinks. Plus being told she was scared of a nurse cause of how rough the nurse is being is a major issue. This review is only step one on action being taken against this place.
